Time

The idea of time is a paradox in itself,
It's an illusion,
A concept of human perception.
It can feel like ages,
Or a blink of an eye.
Take 5 seconds for example.
It's a very short amount of time,
Barely enough for a kiss,
A look,
A laugh.
But at the same time,
So much more can happen.
In 5 seconds 500 lighting strikes have occurred,
In 5 seconds the universe has expanded 45 miles,
Every 5 seconds about 9 people die.
And one of those persons could be a stranger,
A friend,
Me,
You.
But there will always be outside factors that you cant control,
But there are some you can, 
You can control how you treat others,
You can control how you treat yourself,
You can control this abstract thought of time because it's your brain creating the masquerade.
The endless possibilities that are mapped out ahead of you are there waiting for you to make that 5 second choice.
And it's ok to realize that the path you chosen wasn't exactly what you're looking for.
In 10,
100,
Or even 1000 years,
None of this will matter.
So you live your life as if in any 5 seconds you could be one of those 9 people.
Because one day you will be,
And you will be the one to decide if you're satisfied,
If you're content,
If you lived it the way you want.
Because those 5 seconds are way too precious to waste living on someone else's behalf.
It's your life,
Not your moms,
Your girlfriends,
Your friends.
So in those 5 seconds,
Breathe.
Breathe like its the last breath you'll ever take so you have to cherish it.
And in those 5 seconds,
Laugh.
Laugh like your best friend told the greatest joke in the world but you can't calm down enough to remember the punch line.
And In those 5 seconds,
Love.
Love like you've given away your heart to the only person who you've ever come to love because you trust them enough to hold onto the place where they occupy you the most.
And in those 5 seconds,
Live.
Live as if you've got no time left,
But there's still things you want to do.
So you bend time like the deity you are because when you're dealing with illusions you're the one in control so you decide how you live.
You control this life,
You are this life,
You loved this life,
You lived it once,
So forget about time,
And live it all over again
