"So, Ms. Banach, how did you first start at LexCorp?"
"Well, I first started out as an intern, but I took the full time job as it, in my opinion, would satisfy my skillset and I believe I could have more workload on my shoulders."
" And what again is your work position in this company?"
"I'm the junior director of the Research and Development department."
"What do you have to do in this work position, Ms. Banach?"
"Please, call me Felicity. I have to oversee the different projects, in mostly the scientific and technological fields, and evaluate if they are meeting the standards of what LexCorp should provide to our buyers and outlets."
"The standards being?"
"Utmost perfection, with no room for erasure and error. And if a project, such as new medicines or new softwares do not pass this standard, then they will be immediately terminated."
"I see," the blue-eyed man told Felicity, who's eyes were nervous and shocked. When Lex had said those words to her, that he was Superman, she at first didn't register and comprehend. But when she went in and looked at the Clark Kent, she felt stupid for not realizing it. The glasses were a disguise and to most people a good one, yet Lex had actually managed to see through it. He looked at her with confidence and warmth, but she didn't trust him. Her answers being completely professional and cut, she seemed cold, but in reality, she wanted to punch his finely chiseled face in. All she could see when she looked at him were her brother's green eyes and terrified face.
"Ms. Banach, are you okay?" She met his eyes, a murderous look on her face. He immediately flinched, unknowing of why she would glare at him so intensely.
"Is this interview done?" She said in such a clipped tone that it seemed sharper than Lex's cheekbones.
"Yes. I've got most of the answers I needed, and it was good meeting you, Ms. Banach." He turned the recorder off, and looked at her, unsure.
"Felicity, right? Isn't Lois your roommate? I recall meeting before." He said, off the books.
"Of course. Nice to see you again, Clark." She said fakely, placing a hand out which he strongly shook. He believed her pretend joy, taking it as a sign to continue the conversation.
"I should tell Lois to host dinner one night, with you and uh, Lex."
"Sure!" She said.
"Well, I have to go now. Til' next time, Felicity." His warm smile was so easy to befriend, but Cody's haunted face will always replace Clark Kent's now. He left, leaving Felicity in a crazed mess. She heard the leather squeaking of Lex's Sperry's approach her, bringing her up. She looked up at him, her eyes wild and sad. He looked back, concerned.
"Let. Me. Kill. Him." She said through gritted teeth, holding herself back from running to Superman and hitting him.
"Shh, shh, babe."
"I will not shut up! He was responsible for my brother's death, the death of millions, and the death of many more to come! I will not fucking rest until his body is well beneath the ground or way up in the sky." Her ferocity was washing over her, gripping Lex's biceps so hard he was sure it would bruise. The tears on her eyes betrayed her, though. They showed a broken and terrified sister, ready to plot revenge for her dead brother.
"Look at me, " He held her chin, their eyes forcefully meeting, "you can avenge his death in another way. Sooner or later, Superman will die."
"Are you sure?"
"Postive, my darling. I will make sure the last thing he sees is the sister of the man he killed, I promise." He gave her a mad smile, in which she buried her head in his chest, smiling a little too, his insanity dripping on her like rain, infecting her with madness and a crave for violence and the death of a particular alien.

A week since that happened. Felicity had not forgotten at all, distracted as she watched Game of Thrones. She munched on her popcorn, too busy at the thought of Clark Kent's head in the ground, smashed into bits. Lex had lectured her afterwards of the different, the more darker things that happen behind the curtain of LexCorp. Turns out, her boyfriend wasn't as innocent as he seems to be. With an introduction of bribing politicians to hold the reign's of Metropolis' government to selling different weaponry and artillery to foreign companies and countries, Felicity felt heavy with this kind of criminal resting on her shoulders.
"What do you mean you smuggle drugs?"
"I smuggle drugs. That's all." His hands resting on his lap, he looked at her, leaning on the desk while she sat on the leather armchair.
"Are you afraid, little dove?" But in truth he was scared. He was scared that she would run away from the devil that is him, and that she would never love him again with these sins of his shouted to the world (which to him was Felicity of course). But surprisingly enough, a manic smile was plastered on her face.
"Afraid? Nah." She smiled at him, taking one of his hands and pulling him close and kissing him softly, a smile on her face. Lex had succeeded in corrupting in her snow white soul, her brain tainted with his own madness.
