VIOLET'S POV

The ride to Bobby's house took about three hours. Most of it was spent in silence, music blaring from the radio to fill the emptiness.

Every now and then we would talk about random things, like if they needed to get more Holy water or dead mans blood. Other than that it was pretty quiet.

When Ed Sheeran's "Give Me Love" came on I almost squealed. It was my favourite song.

"Ugh not Ed Sheeran again," groaned Chris, reaching over to change the radio station.

"If you change that song, I will kill you," I said from the backseat.

"What you actually like this?" asked Gareth, shocked.

"Ya it's my favourite song. And I'm deadly serious about killing you. But I'd make sure it was slow, and painful."

"Okay okay jeez!"said Chris. "You scare me sometimes, you know that?"

"Good!"

After the song ended Chris changed the station to one that was playing Metallica. I completely zoned out.

It's not that I didn't like Metallica because I did, but I just didn't feel like listening to it. I was overtired and Metallica wasn't the best thing to help me get some sleep.

I leaned back, against the headrest and went to sleep.

GARETH'S POV

Violet hadn't spoken in a while so I looked back to see if she was okay. She was leaning against the window fast asleep. Every now and then she would twitch, as if she was having a nightmare.

"How much longer to Bobby's?" I asked Chris

"About five minutes, why?" he replied

"No reason, just trying to make conversation,"

"You are so weird,"

"It's in my job description,"

Chris chuckled quietly. "Is she asleep " he asked, gesturing to Violet.

I nodded.

"Good, she didn't get much sleep last night."

"How do you know?" I asked

"I got up at seven to go to the bathroom and she was still awake,"

"Seriously? That isn't healthy,"

"Says you."

"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked

"Oh so you're telling me you don't have anymore nightmares?"

"I never said that"

"I worry about you Gareth, you know that right?"

"I know,"

We pulled into the driveway if Bobby's house and parked the car. His house was a two storey blue building with small balconies in the front.

The light was on in the study so we knew Bobby was home. Probably researching for the case. Violet was still asleep in the back.

We grabbed our bags from the trunk and Chris took them inside while I woke Violet up.

"Violet wake up we're here," I said shaking her gently. She stayed asleep.

"I'm sorry about this," I said apologetically.

Then I honked the horn as loudly as I could, holding it down for a few seconds.
