I felt the familiar cold, wet stall shavings underneath me as laid on the floor unable to move. All I could see was black and I could hear the booming for thunder as well as the harsh raindrops that hit the walls around me. All of a sudden the sound of horses rearing, neighing and kicking the walls scared me. I was now able to move as I sat up and pushed myself as far into the corner as possible. I started screaming and rocking back and fourth wanting it to stop and suddenly it did.

I took my hands down from where they were glued to my ears. There was nothing, no rain, no thunder, no horses, nothing. Just as I was staring to calm down I could hear the sound of boots slowly and gradually coming towards me. In no time I could see the boots shadow from underneath the crack of the door. They were stationed there for what felt like forever before the door shot open and I was blinded by the outside light. As my eyes adjusted I could see the man slowly walk towards me as the tears streamed down my face, I couldn't move again. Being trapped in the corner he placed his cold hands on my shoulders and lifted me up so I was pinned against the wall. I screamed again and his now cold hands turned warm.

"Kaitlyn," he slurred. How did he know my name?

"Kaitlyn," he repeated and his voice sounded familiar now. He shook me once more and repeated my name again and I was finally able to figure out who it was. My eyes shot open and I was breathing heavily as I looked up to see Luke sitting beside me on my bed with his hands on my shoulders. I quickly sat up and wrapped my arms around him.

"It was only a dream," he said trying to calm me down as he hugged me tighter. "Are you okay?" He asked and I released myself from the hug. I just nodded and whipped away the tear that had fallen. "Okay we will be waiting for you outside. Why don't you get ready," he spoke placing a kiss on my cheek.

        "Okay," I whispered.

The clock read 11:03, I slept in again. I have never slept this much in my life. I understand that I went through a very traumatizing situation- obviously after that dream- but I had already slept for three days straight. My grandpa had excused me from my chores for a while to re gain my strength. I rolled out of bed still in pain from the broken ribs. I walked into the bathroom and threw my clothes to the ground revealing my bruised stomach. A tear feel from my eye and I quickly wiped it away. I don't like to cry, it makes me feel weak, and I rarely do. This was strange for me, I don't know what came over me, but I just continued to cry. It felt good as well to let it all go. I couldn't tell if they were sad tears from what had happened, or happy tears that I had actually gotten through it.

I stepped into the shower after my little meltdown and just let the heat numb my body. A good 25 minutes later I stepped out of the shower, wrapped the towel around me, and brushed through my thin wet hair. It reached down to my mid back and was always straight, on a good day I could curl it, but it would only stay for about half of the day. I walked out of the bathroom and into my room that connected to it. Today the boys and I are going to be going into town today for some shopping and "sight seeing" even though we were all very familiar with everything there is to see. It took some convincing to let me go but my mom finally agreed to it when she realized that the boys will be watching me. I feel like a five year old with everyone keeping such a close eye on me.

I dug through my clothes and finally found the perfect outfit. I squeezed on my black ripped skinny jeans, tucked in a City and Colour t-shirt, threw on a black leather jacket, and my black and red converse. I was going to wear heels, but considering that I'm already 5'6 I didn't need them. By the time I was done getting dressed and putting on my make-up my hair was already dry and I was ready to go. I walked out to the kitchen to already find the boys waiting.

"Took you long enough," Jai said. I just rolled my eyes and walked out the door with them. We all got in Beau's car with Jai sitting in the passenger seat and Luke and I in the back. The ride consisted on Beau non stop rambling, Jai blasting Justin Bieber, and Luke taking selfies. Today is going to be a long day.
