We arrived at Roseville Road - the longest road in Hudson - which is aligned with cute shops, cafés, and other places to eat.
We got out of the car and I immediately grabbed Beau's hand. "You're coming with me," I instructed.
"Where are you going with my girlfriend?" I could hear Luke yell shorty after.
"Spend some time with your twin," I shouted back.
"I have spent 18 years with this kid, I want to go with you," he pouted.
"Awe poor baby. I'll meet you in an hour for lunch, don't miss me too much," I smiled and kissed him on the cheek before running back over to Beau.
As we walked away I could hear Jai say something to Luke. "If it makes you feel any better, you're my favourite twin."
"I'm your only twin!" Luke yelled, frustrated, as I laughed a bit to myself and then entered a small store filled with clothes.
"Okay so why did you want me to come with you instead of Luke?" Beau asked, confused.
"I need to get Luke a present, and I honestly have no clue what to get him," I explained franticly searching for something. We had limited time to find the perfect gift.
"Well you're his girlfriend, you should know," he said. Is this guy really being sassy with me?
"And you have been his brother for 18 years, so you should know," I fought back.
"Fair enough," he nodded. Beau and I could not go through one normal conversation. "Fine, fine let me think," he said as he puts his hand on his chin.
"Does he need clothes?" I suggested.
"No," he shook his head.
"Shoes?" I said hoping this would be a winner.
"Nah," he easily shot down my idea.
I started to say something else, but he cut me off. "I've got it! Luke has always wanted his own video camera, he has always loved that stuff," Beau said as his face lot up.
"That's perfect, Beau I knew you would pull through," I exclaimed as we left the store.
We entered a shop that was filled with different electronics on every self. I picked out a silver Sony video camera that was a good $300 dollars, but it was worth it. We purchased the camera and I was wiped clean of all my money.
"Looks like you're buying for me today," I told Beau.
"Oh really, depends on if I'm your favourite Brooks brother or not," he winked, with evil smirk.
"What are you talking about?" I rolled my eyes.
"If you want lunch today, you're going to have to admit that I'm your favourite," he explained himself. I start to say what he asked, but he stopped me. "Nooo... I want you to scream it to the world."
"BEAU BROOKS IS MY FAVOURITE BROOKS BROTHER!" I screamed in the middle of the plaza.
"I got it all on video, this is going on keek and the boys are defiantly seeing this," he said dying of laughter.
"Alright let's go put this in the car, and then meet the boys for lunch," I rolled my eyes once again.
We walked into a quaint restaurant called Locale to already find Luke and Jai sitting at a table in the very middle. There was barley anyone inside, which is not going to be good because it gives us a reason to be loud. We took our time in the restaurant knowing that there was no one else there that needed to be waited on. One thing that I learned today is that Beau is the messiest eater, there was food everywhere, and when I say everywhere I mean it. When we were done, leaving the restaurant consisted of death stares from every single employee. We couldn't careless though because none of us were the type to get embarrassed easily. The rest of the day consisted of us running through shops, and wasting our money on things we likely don't need.
