I ran back to the house as quickly as I could due to the fact that the boys only gave me thirty minutes to get ready.

"Ma, I'm going out to dinner with the boys," I told her as she stood by the counter peeling an orange and nodding her head.

"Alright dear, just be home by 10:00pm okay," she replied.

"Okay thanks."

I entered my room and immediately touched up my make up along with brushing my teeth. I walked out to my room and grabbed my favourite plain white summer dress along with a pair of beige sandals from my closet. Next I walked over to my dresser and put on the red crystal necklace that I had laid out earlier today.

Lastly I grabbed my phone off the dresser that I currently stood at and then headed outside. I was a little late, but hey you know the saying, 'better late, than never.'

"Took you long enough," Beau yelled as he leaned against the hood of the car with his arms crossed and one foot placed over the other. He sported a pair of skinny jeans and a blue button up. He also wore a beige fedora which I have to admit, looked quite good on him.

"Yeah, yeah whatever. Let's just go," I ushered him towards the driver side.

I hopped in the back seat beside Luke who was wearing dark washed jeans and a yellow shirt that said 'smile if you fancy me.' And not thinking twice I flashed him a toothy grin and he shot a wink back.

"So where are we going?" I asked and Jai turned down the volume of the radio to speak.

"Just going to hit up the Hudson Diner. Oh and Daniel said Theresa is coming as well," he informed me.

"Oh okay cool. They meeting us there?" I asked.

"Yup," Beau responded and once again turned the music up once the song Fancy came on. The rest of the car ride was silent.

We finally reached the diner and I greeted Theresa with a hug. We all sat down in the large booth and began separate conversations.

Theresa sat across from me and everyone seemed to be distracted so we started a private conversation. Or about as private as you could get in a restaurant full of people.

"Have you meet the new guy in town yet? He's really hot," she whispered over the table and I laughed at her remark.

"Yeah he lives right next door to me. I was actually over there today, and going back over tomorrow," I continued the whispering.

"Lucky," she cooed.

"Theresa you have a boyfriend," I reminded her of the boy right next to her that she happens to be in a relationship with.

"I know and you do too, but that didn't stop you," she pointed out.

She's right I shouldn't have gone, but look at the amazing opportunity it gave me. Besides were just friends. Nothing more. I like Luke.

"So why you going over tomorrow?" She asked as our food arrived. We were now no longer in a whisper.

"His mom wants me to race against one of her top horse to see how good I am," I smiled and by now Luke ease dropped on our conversation and budded in.

"Can I come watch?" He asked as he chewed away on some fries.

"Sure that should be fine. I just need to ask first." I responded with a smile. He didn't seem mad that I was going back over there, so that was a good sign.

I texted Aaron and he replied saying that I could bring as many people as I wanted and to be over by 1 o'clock.

I returned back to my conversation with Theresa and by the time our desserts got to the table everyone was debating over what was better. Peanut butter or Nutella.
