Chapter 26: Cole and Cal

<Cole's POV>

Today's it. Today's the day. My wedding day. I am currenly in Dani's old room getting ready to leave to go to the church. I know me in a church, very unlikely but today I can make an exception.

All of my bridesmaids except for Dani were downstairs. Since Dani is my maid of honor she is helping me finish getting ready. I had all of my makeup down and my hair was down in loose beach curls with a side section of my hair pulled back with a baby blue bobby pin that Calum's mom Joy gave me. I had my dress on and held my shoes in my hand as I made my way down the steps.

The photographers were taking pictures of my every movement. When I reached the bottom of the steps they had all of the bridesmaids line up around me by the steps to take a picture. Dani was next to me smiling at me.

"I can't believe you're getting married in less than 1 hour!"

"I know and you're getting married in less than 24 hours."

"I know-"

"Can I cut in? I have a favor to ask?" The photographer asked.

"Sure."

"Can I get of few shots of just you two talking. It is the picture perfect moment. The bride smiling, the maid of honor smiling. The talking. The laughing. Just so natural and perfect."

"Yeah go ahead."

"So Cole....How does it feel so far"

"I want to throw up." I said laughing causing Dani to make a funny face like she was saying 'Ew!'

Alright ladies it is time to head to the party bus. We have to be at the church in 40 minutes." Joy said walking out to make sure the bus was still here.

While we were all in the bus it was a sea of baby blue and one gray dress. I was the last one on the bus and when I got on all of the girls were smiling as Dani walked up and handed me champagne.
"To the soon to be Mrs. Hood!"

All of the girls even Calum's mom raised a glass and chugged it down. We got to St. Tim's with 10 minutes to spare. I took Dani by the hand and ran to the bathroom.
"Help!"

"What?" She laughed.

"I feel so nervous. My stomach hurts and I think I smudged my makeup sneezing."

"Cole! Stop! Your makeup is flawless and today is supposed to be the day you're marrying your best friend. Just a normal day the only difference is that you're in a dress and you will have a different name by the end of the night."

I smiled and slowly started to calm down. I heard the music start to play as we walked out of the bathroom signaling that it was time.

One bridesmaids walked down with one groomsmen.

Another bridesmaid and groomsmen walked down

Then another and another and another.

Click, click, click.

The flower girl and ring bear walked down leaving Dani and Luke left to follow.

When Dani and Luke got up to the front of the church leaving me visible to Calum. He looked down the isle to me and his mouth opened into a wide, cheeky smile. His smile is so contagious. The piano started to play my special bridal song. My father and I slowly made our way up to the front of the church but half way we stopped.
