"It's my auntie's," I lied
"You said your aunt couldn't have kids?" Alice replied
"My other aunite,"
"Oh, and what other auntie is this?"
"Fine OK, it's my step mums,"
"You don't know where your dad is" Alice asked getting more annoyed at my lies
"She sent it to me,"
"No she didn't you wouldn't keep it under your god dam pillow,"
I started to feel uneasy and I pushed myself back over my bed and lent against the wall with my head pointing towards the ceiling.
"What arn't you telling me Ali!?"
"I told you didn't I now stop asking me twenty one fucking questions!"
Alice looked away and I could see the anger boiling in her eyes.
"Either your going to tell me, or I'll ask you mum!" Alice said threatening
"For fuck sake Alice! Your sooo annoying, don' you believe me no more!?"
She stood up and headed towards the door.
"Its MINE!!!!!" I said starting the waterworks
I pulled my knees to my face and buried my head deep inside them.
"WHAT!" Alice said "I knew something wasn't right, I should be some kind of detective in a few years time,"
"You promise me you WILL NOT tell anyone?" I pleaded launching forward at her
"OK, OK, did Mitch force you into anything? And why were you so stupid to have unprotected sex with him! Your early fucking teens!" Alice went ballistic
"Calm it will ya? And it wasn't unprotected, well we thought, Mitch had the condom but it bloody split and he doesn'y even know it split as I kicked it under the bed! He doesn't even know I'm carrying his baby!" I cried more
"Ssshhhh," Alice pulled my into a hug
"This is big, and I don't know what to do, will you help me get together some stuff for at least when it arrives?" I asked
"Ofcourse whenever I'm in town I'll pick up something yeah?"
"I love you, your such a good friends Alice," I hugged her tighter
"You trying to kill me off now, your squeezing a little too hard there," She laughed
"How far are you now?"
"Second trimester now," I sighed
"So about four, five months?"
"Yep five months,"
"Four months left hun, we need to do shopping, and soon,"
She grabbed my arm and pulled me off the bed.
"Ummmm....?" I asked looking confused
"Shopping, its not everyday I find a best-friend pregnant," She smiled "And by the way, congratulations,"
"Thanks, I guess, when am I going to tell Mitch?" I said looking down
"Soon bab, your gunna have to ain't ya? It is his baby after all and now hes created something he can't turn his back on you now!? If he does hes a sick twisted bastard!?" Alice said loud 'n' proud
We both walked downstairs and I bumped into mum,
"Hey, mum I'm going to town with Alice, is it alright if I borrow some money?" I asked hopefully
"With you, it isn't called borrowing," Mum chuckled and gave me twenty pound
'I swear she forgets about me having some money already' I thought to myself and it planted a huge cheeky grin on my face.
Me and Alice both laughed at her goldfish memory and left the house.
"That will never get old," I laughed and we both walked to the good old bus-stop once again, but not for something you'd expect a teenage girl to go shopping for.
