I opened my eyes and the first thing I noticed was how cool the air around me felt. It was like I just stepped into that shopping mall again, the cool air hitting me on full blast...and it felt good.

I stared at the pure blue sky above me, a few clouds hung fluffy, reminding me of the previous dream I had.

I sat up, my hands flat on the prickly grass, green and a bit damp. The first thing I saw was a big wooden sable. It looked like any classic stable, wooden and painted red. I quickly got up, curious of what was inside. I trudged towards the stable, noticing that I was wearing a horse riding outfit, or whatever you call it. A whip hung from the belt around my waist, my hair down under a hard helmet. The pants were too tight; I wouldn't be surprised if my circulation suddenly stopped. A blazer hung over my shoulders, a perfect fit.

I finally reached the wooden door of the stable; I reached out and pulled at the heavy double doors. They slowly creaked open as I heaved them open. I let out a deep exhausted breath as the doors finally opened wide. I peeked in the dark stables before slowly stepping in. As soon as I was a few steps away from the door, it banged shut behind me. I quickly twirled around at the sudden sound, and surely the doors were closed behind me.

I was left alone in the pitched dark stable.

I looked around for any source of light but the big windows were boarded up, how convenient, I thought sarcastically. I tried walking but stumbled over a pile of hay. I got up again, searching for a flashlight or a lighter, anything. But it was too hard in the dark.

Suddenly the doors squeaked open and I whipped around as light exploded into the dark stable. I squinted, raising a hand as a shield trying to see who was behind the door. Before I could figure out who just walked in, an idea came to mind and I rushed to keep the doors open, grabbing anything heavy enough. I found a few bricks lying around and I hurried to lay them against the door.

I finally looked up to see Lily standing in the middle of the entrance, her mouth in the shape of an O. She was wearing the same riding gear as I was, a black helmet over her curly head. Her boots looked newly polished and I looked down at mine to see they were at the same state as hers.

Then I turned around to see what she was staring at and as hard as I tried, I couldn't suppress the gasp that escaped from my parted lips.

Now that the stable was lit by the sun through the stable doors, I could see how big the stable was.

It was huge.

The walls were all wooden of course, the windows now obviously boarded up by wooden planks that were nailed to the walls. The floor was covered in hay, with a few squared hay piles scattered around randomly.

But that wasn't why Lily stood frozen in her spot with her eyes wide and her jaw practically touching the hay covered floor.

There were a lot of stalls in this big wooden stable, each with a half wooden swinging door.

But only two were vacant.

And behind those two swinging doors were why both Lily and I were so awestruck.

There were two unicorns with wings behind the cool swinging doors. Both were pure white but that was the only similarity they had. One had a light purplish colored horn, with a matching mane and tail reminding me of "My little pony". The other had bright pink instead of purple and it was a bit smaller than the purple one.

The purple unicorn had blue eyes, not the grey-blue kind of blue but an actual bright blue-blue. The pink one had purple eyes, its black pupils almost squeezing the purple of its iris.
