"Aaron's in the kitchen."

As soon as I was done with breakfast, I rushed to Aaron's. I was nervous and excited to see him. Nervous, because of what happened between us. Excited, because I couldn't wait to tell him about the dream I had the night before...and that I sort of broke it off with Felix. Although I could barely call it that, since we never really had much between us anyway, even if I might've thought so at some point.

Adam, tall, muscular, and very disheveled from sleep, greeted me at the door.

I thanked him and found my way to the kitchen.

Aaron was standing by the sink, washing the dishes with a thoughtful look on his face. Standing there in the kitchen, watching him, took me back to the first time we kissed. I smiled at the memory.

"Hey." I spoke.

Aaron quickly turned around to face me, wiping his hands on a rag by the counter. He shot me a grin. "Couldn't wait to see me, so you came here, early...I could get used to this."

I rolled my eyes. "I wanted to tell you something. Actually, it's more than one thing..."

"Okay, I'm almost done with this. Can you wait?" He turned back to do the dishes.

"Yeah, sure. Can I help?"

"Nah, I'm good."

I walked over to the sink and grabbed a sponge. It all started with a sponge, I thought as I smiled. I picked up the dish washing soap, squirting it on the sponge (the feeling way too familiar), then started cleaning one of the plates.

"Kat." He warned.

"I have nothing better to do." I said, shrugging.

He picked up a mug. "Bond with Adam."

I almost laughed. "Yeah, okay, sure."

"I was sort of serious...I don't get why you guys are so tense around each other."

I scrubbed the plate roughly before putting it down. I glanced at the kitchen door. "He just...creeps me out."

Aaron barked out a laugh. "Adam wouldn't hurt a fly."

I gaped at him. "Did you look at your brother lately? He's huge."

"So? He just goes to the gym a lot."

I could not believe what he was saying.

"Okay. Whatever." Was the only thing I could think to say in the end.

We went outside to talk. I realized that with everything going on, I had less time to spend on the beach. And we were probably leaving in a few days.

Aaron and I found a bench a bit farther away from most of the houses. It was a bit early in the morning. The sun was just out, scattering bright light everywhere. It didn't stop some joggers though, and I watched as some ran across us.

"So? What do you want to talk about?" He asked.

I gave him a pointed look.

"Something about the dreams?"

I nodded.

"Remember when I told you about...Lily?"

"Yeah...?"

"The same night, or dream, whatever you call it....Felix and I were at this circus thing. But it was kind of different from the ones...here."

I explained about the 'dreamers', describing their eyes and weird moving prints.
