Denis woke me up the next morning by kissing my neck and jaw. Needless to say, I was definitely up after it. My mother had made some breakfast. It was odd because she never really bothered to make meals for all of us anymore. Between her and my fathers work schedule, they were never home at the same time. I ended up just eating a sandwich or something every night.
"This is really good." Denis spoke up as they were eating.
Breakfast wasn't really my thing. If I ate something, I would be nauseous the rest of the day.
"Thank you. I'm glad you like it." My mother smiled at him.
"Well, how could I not? Pancakes are my favorite thing to eat." He smiled back.
I was gazing at Denis from my place next to him. He noticed and winked at me. My cheeks turned red and I let go of his hand. He shrugged and put it on my thigh, rubbing it. I kicked his foot but he didn't stop.
I squeaked and got up off the chair.
"I'm getting water." I announced, my voice cracking.
"Are you alright?" Denis smirked at me.
"Just need some water. I'm parched." I sped off to the kitchen.
As I was filling my cup, Denis walked in behind me. He walked right up to me and bit my neck. I almost dropped my cup into the sink.
"Are you still alright?" He whispered into my ear.
I broke away from him and basically ran to the other side of the room.
"I hate you." I shook my head and drank the water.
"Oh really? Your face says different."
"What does my face say?"
"Fuck me Den-"
"Shut up, you idiot. My parents are in there."
"Who doesn't like a little danger?"
"Not me!"
"One of these days."
"Keep dreaming."
"Oh, I am babe. Trust me."

After the little episode at breakfast, I took a shower to clear my mind. Denis was getting to me and he was changing me. I liked the change. It wasn't bad or anything, but a change was really nice. I had someone to confide in other than my parents and Kassidy. I had multiple people if I including the other four guys and Ciara.
Ciara and I had been talking more. She was a really laid-back person and in ways just like me. It felt nice to have friends.
After about twenty minutes of being in the shower, I jumped out and changed into a simple black dress and dried my hair. Denis was on my bed, asleep again when I opened the door.
I smiled and laid next to him. Almost immediately, he put his arm around my waist and held me to him.
In the days that we've been together, I've realized that he loved to cuddle. It was really nice to have someone hold you. It was very comforting.

"Wake up, we have to get out! Sofia, c'mon!" Someone was screaming.
Something was burning. I shot up and looked around me. There was thick smoke all around the top of the room. Denis was on the ground, crawling towards the door. I joined him and we made our way downstairs and out the door. I could hear distant sirens. They didn't sound close at all.
"C'mere Sofia, it's alright. It's gonna be alright." Denis told me as we walked away from the burning house behind me.
"Where's my parents a-and Kassidy?" I asked looking around.
"They're dead. The fire killed them instantly." He said.
"What are you talking about? Denis, they're still in there. We have to go in there." I begged.
"They're dead." He insisted.
"Denis, please! They aren't dead! We have to go in there." I screamed.
Denis was holding me back as we watched my house crumble to the ground.

I shot up, screeching. Denis looked at me, frantically.
"What's wrong, shorty?" He asked.
"N-no they were dead. Y-you said you killed them." I screamed and fell out of my bed.
"No one is dead. It's alright." He jumped off the bed and sat next to me.
"No!" I began to cry.
Denis wrapped his arms around my waist and started rubbing my back to soothe me.
"It's alright. It was just a nightmare." He whispered.
I cried into his chest, feeling like a complete wuss. The tears wouldn't stop and I had no clue why I was crying. I knew it was a dream, not reality. It still wouldn't stop.
I calmed down after a couple minutes of us laying on the floor hugging.
"I'm sorry." I piped up.
"Don't be. We all have bad dreams sometimes. Do you want to talk about it?" He let me go and grabbed my hands instead.
"E-Everything was on fire. You were screaming for me to get up. You said everyone was dead." My voice was cracking more.
"It's okay, baby. Everyone is fine. There's no fire." He tried to smile.
I nodded and looked at the time. The clock read four o' clock.
"Do you want to watch a movie?" Denis asked pulling me back into bed.
I shrugged.
"We can watch Toy Story." He offered.
I let out a giggle.
"I'm taking that as a yes." He stood up and put the movie in.
"I'm going to get some water." I told him and walked downstairs.
My mother was sitting on the couch watching a random episode of Cake Wars and I assumed Kassidy was either in her room or at a friends house. Father was at work so we were of course, on our own for dinner.
I shrugged it off and walked into the kitchen, grabbing two water bottles and a bag of pretzels. Pretzels were my favorite things ever. They tasted really good and they didn't have very many calories in them. It was a win-win.
I made my way back upstairs. Denis looked at me while I threw a water bottle at him. It hit his stomach.
"Thanks babe." He smiled.
"You're welcome." I laid on top of him, "You're really comfy."
"I try." He rumbled with laughter.
"No I'm serious. Your skin is really soft." I laid my head on his chest.
"It's ketchup."
"Was that a Hannah Montana reference?"
"Indeed it was!"
I rolled off of him laughing and repositioned myself. We calmed down and watched the movie.
I loved days where we just did nothing and cuddled. It made me feel special.
I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO END THIS :(
