Three months after we had begun the process, Ben and Ciara finally gained guardianship over Kassidy.

The day after it was confirmed, Denis and I found out that I was pregnant. Everyone was filled with extreme joy. Kassidy couldn't stop talking about how she would be a great aunt.

A couple days before the baby was born, my grandparents had called me and apologized for leaving Kassidy there. I wasn't ready to make amends with them just yet. They understood and told me they would be here if we ever needed anything.

Our baby was born December 24th at 7:53PM. We had decided on the name Liliana, after my mother.

Denis was a little distant for the first couple weeks after Liliana was born, but soon came back and was overjoyed.

And to think, none of this would've happened without a bit of fear.

ITS OVER I DONT WANT IT TO BE OVER WHAT THE HELL I STARTED THIS IN LIKE MARCH??? OK ACTUALLY IM PRETTY PROUD OF MYSELF FOR FINISHING THIS BECAUSE IM NEVER ABLE TO FINISH THEM. JUST TO CLEAR IT UP, THERE WILL NOT BE A SEQUEL. IM CONTENT WITH HOW EVERYTHING ENDED.
