Nagpanggap akong tulog nang dumating kaninang madaling araw si Utt. Inabangan at pinaghandaan ko talaga ang pagdating niya dahil gusto kong makasiping ang asawa ko. Baka sa pagtatalik namin ay bumalik ang dating warmth ni Utt sa akin. Baka mapatunayan kong mali lamang ang suspetsa ko na iniiwasan niya ako, at marami lang talaga siyang trabaho.

Pero sa tuwing gigising ako sa umaga, napapansin kong kaunti lang ang nababawas sa niluto kong ulam at kanin, at nakalagay na ito sa microwave plastic box na nakatago sa icebox. Yes, we have ice despite not having electricity.

I don't know how Utt did it but he managed to put up an ice warehouse sa labas ng Hacienda Tolosa na naabot ng kuryente. He supplies ice to the community using an ice van he purchased. This became source of income for many in the Hacienda Tolosa community thru the cooperative he also put up. The cooperative supplies ice for a super cheap price basta taga Hacienda Tolosa ka. Nagsu-supply din ng ice ang cooperative sa labas ng Hacienda Tolosa. Ang puhunan ay nanggaling kay Don Emilio at ang ideya ay mula kay Utt. The profit helps in supporting operations kahit na halos free na ang supply ng ice para sa mga tao ng Hacienda Tolosa.

Utt found ways to bring technology to the community like bringing the idea of having zeer pots and coolers in each home. The coolers are loaned thru the cooperative na halos hindi nga nararamdaman ng mga taga-hacienda na may utang sila because of the coolers they loaned for their home. Utt made sure all homes acquired their own coolers. At dahil dito, bumaba ang rate ng food poisoning. The small lying in inside the hacienda is now filled with people not because of food poisoning, but because of medical missions which Utt managed to arrange for the community. May libreng bakuna para sa mga bata at vitamins para sa lahat. Utt was able to manage having a lying in for the community because of the other business he put up, and that was making ice cream using Carabao's milk. Since Don Emilio have many carabaos, they supply the carabao's milk outside of the Hacienda. Because of this, the people of Hacienda Tolosa loved him all the more, and it makes me proud of my husband!

My husband... I miss him so much, and it makes me yearn for him. Kung malayo man ang loob niya sa akin ngayon, baka mahikayat ko siya kung magkaroon kami ng pisikal na kontak. Alam ko... kilala ko ang asawa ko. He likes fondling and touching me. But ever since mag-away kami, he kept his distance. Pero nasubukan ko na noon na maglambing sa kaniya at nakita kong muntik na siyang bumigay. Kung susubukan ko ulit ngayon... it might work. I could feel it would work.

Pero hinubad niya lang ang kaniyang damit, at ang pinaka-unusual ay nag-tshirt at shorts siya, bago nahiga sa tabi ko. It looked like wala siyang balak na makipag-make love sa akin.
