Thanks to 2sistersforever, for the amazing song suggestion. Personally, I'm a HUGE fan of Three Days Grace. And the song fits into my story :D

And yep, you got it. Two chapters at once. Just wanting to finish off the story, the end is coming. It's going to be dramatic as hell. And probably unexpected. So just be patient with me, alright? :P

This is both Callum's and Rae's P.O.V. Hope you guys liked the last one, and this one!

Fan, vote and comment. That makes me happy, do you wanna make me happy?

 Callum's P.O.V.

'So, Callum. How about it?' she fluttered her eyelashes, in what was supposed to be a seductive way, I think. I wasn't really paying attention to her, I was too busy thinking about something else. Someone who I'd rather be with right now, instead of... Christy? Kirsty? What was her name again...

'What, sorry?' I replied distractedly, from the pout and annoyed look on her face, she obviously wasn't very impressed with my answer.

Someone wedged himself between me and her, and punched me playfully on the shoulder. I sighed in relief, grateful for the interruption, but saw the hurt in her eyes and her retreating back and a pang of guilt welled up inside me. 'I'll call you later...' I made a feeble attempt to call after her, but I didn't think she heard me.

'Focus, focus!' one of my best friends, Jake waved his hand in front of my face, demanding my attention, though I was still thinking about Rae. 'plenty more time for chicks later, but right now, you gotta listen to me!'

I sighed, and waved a hand, mentioning for him to go on.

'PEP RALLY WITH EASTERN HIGH, BABY!' he whooped excitedly, it got us attention from several people were walking past, and I just smiled good-naturedly at his giddiness. He finally stopped cheering, and said, 'Coach wants you in his office, now. So I'll catch ya later.' With that, he walked away, leaving me standing there.

I slowly made my way to the gym, keeping an eye open for Rae. Sometimes, she liked to stay afterschool to train for athletics or do some hockey drills, so maybe I could bump into her. And then... see how things go from there. I had no idea if she was still pissed at me, but I really wanted to see her and explain.

The office was located outside the changing rooms, and I suddenly remembered I had left my student ID on the bleachers this afternoon when I was there. Without it, I wouldn't be able to get in tomorrow morning, so I changed direction towards the sports hall.

I was in a hurry so I shoved open the double doors, my plan was grab my ID and get out of there, see Coach then go home. The first thing I see, was the new guy Toby with Rae, in the middle of the basketball court, with their arms around each other, and they looked as if they were about to kiss.

I was frozen in place, hurt was like an iron fist, punching my stomach again and again, blow after blow. Making me want to keel over, and throw up. Anger was consuming me, clouding my judgement and actions. Before I could stop myself, quieten my impulses, I stalked towards them, hands curling into fists at my sides.

He needs to get his dirty hands off her.

I reached them, he looked up in surprise, he stepped away from her, facing me. But too late, my hand snaked out, catching him in the chest, and I shoved him away from her as hard as I could. Fury boiled, and I just wanted him to get away from Rae.

She widened her eyes in surprise when she saw it was me, and her mouth opened in shock. She rushed to his side, where he lost his balance and fell backwards onto the floor, and started helping him up. But there was no sound, blood pounded in my ears, and my vision kept moving out of focus.

Her mouth was moving, she was screaming something at me. But I couldn't hear it. Why couldn't I hear it? She was talking, one hand on his arm and the other helping him up. I wanted to yell at her, to move away from him. But I suddenly couldn't speak, my throat was dry, and I could feel myself ready to collapse on the ground because the gym walls were closing in on me. Suffocating me...

'I can't believe you just did that!' I bellowed at Callum, then turning around to Toby, 'are you okay? Are you hurt?'

'I'm fine.' he muttered, but he winced when I tried to help him up. He probably twisted his ankle, or sprained his wrist when he fell backwards. It all happened too fast to me to see properly, one minute he was standing before me, the next minute he wason the floor in a heap.

I spun around, marched right up to Callum. There was nothing on his face, no shock, no regret, no guilt. It was just a stone mask, betraying no emotion. I pushed him, and he stumbled. Hurt flashed across his ash grey eyes. Then he just ran out of the gym. I stared after him, wanting to call him back. Wanting to tell him that I didn't mean what I just did. But all is too late.

I turned back to Toby, he was standing up and massaging his wrist. I walked over and took a deep breath, ready to gush out how sorry I was, about what Callum did, and how I hoped he was okay, and nothing was damaged too severely. But his next words stopped me short.

'Who was that guy? What the hell was his problem...?'

Oh that's right! I forgot, Toby doesn't know anything about me and Callum. He didn't even know who he was... Should I tell him the truth? About me and him?

'Oh him...? He was just being an asshole. He's like that to everyone...' The lie came out so naturally. Toby was convinced, and I suddenly felt guilty for lying to him. He will find out soon enough, then what? What will become of our friendship then? I wasn't sure if we were even friends to begin with...

'Come on, let's go to the nurse.'

  'It doesn't really matter...'

'Of course it does, come on, I'll take you.' before I turned around, something on the bleachers caught my eye. It was a piece of card of some kind, 'I'll be right back', I left his side and jogged towards it. When I picked it up and saw it was Callum's ID card, he must have came here to get it, I smiled evily and stuffed into my pocket.

I'll deal with you later, Callum.

  'What was that?' Toby asked.

'Oh, nothing.' I gave him a reassuring smile, and tugged on his good arm, 'come on, let's go. Before we'll have to anputate your arm.'

He shook his head, smiling, and allowed me to drag him to the nurse's office. I sat down in the waiting area, tapping my foot and whistling a random four note tune. Toby was across the room from me, he nodded and mouthed 'You don't have to wait, you know.'

I mouthed back, 'What you gonna do about it?'

He burst out laughing, and the nurse who was putting a bandage on his swollen wrist, glanced up at him sternly and he immediately shut up. Then he looked at me mischieviously, and mimed cutting his throat, then pointed at me.

I just stuck my middle finger at him. He just chuckled to himself. For the next ten minutes, we mouthed insults to each other over the nurse's shoulder, which I have to admit, it was quite entertaining. Whatever he said, always could make me laugh and slap my thigh in delight. I was genuinely happy for a change.

After he got bandaged and got instructions from the nurse, he walked over to me, where I was sitting and pretended to collapse on me. I giggled, and tried to shove him off my lap. I was discovering more about Toby, he appeared so shy and distant on the first day during our encounter, but who knew, he could be outgoing and totally adorable as well.
