Gibbs' POV

I was so relieved when I heard Ziva's voice but when I found her. I knew that whatever is going on, it isn't good. Her clothes were ripped in several places, she had tearstains on her cheeks and her eyes were bloodshot. The first sentence she spoke since we found her was to Ducky. Then she went straight to Abby, and she hasn't come out of Abby's lab since. It even took us an hour to make her talk about what happened. She left a couple of things out, I could see it but I decided not to push her. If she believed that they were important, she would have said something about it. When I walked into Abby's lab she was crying on Abby's shoulder. It was heartbreaking to see and by McGee's reaction I know he thought the same as me. I told McGee to leave them alone for a while but news around here travels fast.

Even Breena came by at one point, worried about Ziva just like the rest of us. None of us have ever seen Ziva this upset. Around 2300 I go down to Abby to find her and Ziva still working eagerly. By the position Ziva is in, I can see she's exhausted. I tell her to go home but she says she's fine, she doesn't want to go home. Something about the way she says it, tells me there's more going on than what she's showing. At this moment I really hate Ziva's stubbornness. I eventually let her stay with Abby in her lab since Abby is not planning on leaving either. I do pull Abby to the side to tell her to keep me in the loop of what's going on. She nods and I go back upstairs to figure out what the hell they want with Tony.

The next morning, I go back to Abby's lab to figure out how they are doing. As I enter the lab I only see Abby working eagerly. I kiss her cheek and ask her where Ziva is. She points towards her desk and I look towards there. As I enter I find Ziva laying on the floor sleeping with a small blanket draped over her. I walk over to her and pull the blanket a little further up. I have to laugh when I notice Bert, the farting animal of Abby, is laying down next to her. "I thought she could use the comfort so I laid it down with her after she fell asleep." Abby suddenly says from behind me. I turn around and smile at her. I'm happy I can call these people my family but there is one family member missing. We need to find that one family member.

It's then that Ziva wakes up. She's clearly still tired but she pulls up her body and sits against the wall. I wipe her hair out of her face, and she gives me a light smile. We need to bring Tony back. If we don't, this family might never be the same. Especially not Ziva I've seen how close she and Tony got over the years. They bicker and fight constantly but so do siblings. The only goal right now is getting Tony back. Alive.
