Abby's POV

Ever since the phone call from Tony, Ziva's been on edge. Every phone call that goes around the team has Ziva's attention, hoping it's Tony. With every ding of the elevator her attention is towards the person coming out. She keeps on checking her emails. She has started eating though without needing to be forced. She does go to Gibbs' house every single day after work just like in the beginning. After the phone call everyone has been paying more attention to everything and everyone around us. Two weeks after the phone call we finally got something. We were out eating lunch and suddenly Ziva noticed a guy who she had seen before. Not once but a lot. He was in the office often. She has seen him near Gibbs his house. She has seen him here before too. She just never realized it due the fact she has been too busy with other stuff. Also because he always seemed to be like any other person.

He was always working in the background and would enter a house when he was near Gibbs his house. When he notices our looks are focusing on him, he quickly leaves. They go after him the minute we notice he's running from us. They catch him even before he can get out of the little ally behind the shop. We take him back to the office making sure Ziva isn't too nearby. At ten feet away from him she still tries to attack him yelling at him to say where Tony is. Everyone is needed to hold her back only Gibbs is with our suspect. The others are all holding Ziva back. You can see that the guy was clearly afraid of Ziva, probably also knowing who she is and what she's trained to do. It's not smart following Ziva if you don't know that she can easily kill and torture people.

Gibbs interrogates him for three hours before he finally speaks. It took a very angry Ziva in the back of the room but he's talking. Ducky, Jimmy and I are behind the mirror looking while Gibbs is interrogating, and McGee is making sure Ziva stays in the back of the room. As soon as Gibbs gets an address out of him, Ziva shoots up from her seat and goes straight towards the parking lot. We all quickly follow knowing that Ziva will not wait a second for us. We all jump into two different cars. Gibbs, Ziva and I in the same car and Ducky, Jimmy and McGee in the other. As we arrive, I have to make sure Ziva stays with me near the car. It's a whole struggle but I succeed. We watch as they burst through the door. Ducky and Jimmy wait outside the door with the stretcher they took along just in case. We wait. The anxiety getting worse by every single second that passes by. I think that around ten minutes pass before they run in with the stretcher.

It takes them about five more minutes before they walk out. Tony on the stretcher. Ducky checking him for severe wounds. Instead of holding Ziva back as I was supposed to, I drag her towards Tony faster. Probably faster than her legs can carry at the moment but Ziva doesn't care either. She's immediately clenching Tony's hand once he's in arm reach, happy tears rolling down her cheeks. Tony slowly turns his head towards Ziva and says her name, which makes her hold on his hand tighten. She carefully moves his hair out of his face as he smiles up at her. His eyes slowly closing as Ziva just keeps on stroking his hair out of his face, whispering that he will be okay. The tears never stop sliding down her cheeks as he loses consciousness.
