"Did you here about the new kid?" I heard those whispers all over school today, but I haven't seen anyone I don't know.
"I heard he's great at soccer,"
"I heard he has tattoos!"
"I heard he's super hot!"
People kept talking about him, but only in 'I heard 's or 'I've been told's. It seems like no ones actually seen him.
Sure, our school got new kids all the time, but they never got this much commotion. I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned to see my best friend, joe.
"I saw the new kid! He was in my gym class. His name was Pete or something." He told me and I nodded.
"Is he as hot as everyone says?" I asked.
"I didn't think he was very good-looking," I expected this from him. It was the stupidest question to ask my very straight friend.
"Sure," I said with a little sarcasm.
"What am I supposed to say? I have a girlfriend you know." He said.
"Fine, well, I'll see ya tomorrow, I have to head home," I said and he nodded.
"Bye."
I walked out the door and past the crowd of people onto the cracked sidewalk leading to my neighborhood. The sidewalks got nicer as I walked past the bigger estates and closer to my home.
One house had a bright yellow Penske truck in the driveway. Probably the new kid. I thought to myself.
As I walked past the driveway the truck started moving backwards and I quickly got out of the way, but not before the truck skinned my ankle.
"Fuck," I said looking at my bleeding ankle.
The truck pulled back up to the garage and a man a little taller than me hopped out and quickly walked over to me. He was familiar, but I just couldn't put my finger on it.
I have like so many story drafts and I found this one and had some ideas for it, so here it is. It's kinda based of the TV show The Vampire Diaries. So yeah, I hope you enjoy it...........
