Third Person P.O.V

Our story continued three months later....

Star left New Orleans taking her son to Italy in the care of her dearest friend Luca, he was someone that she trusted with the circumstances that have been brought to light. While baby Chance powers grew each day that pass Star's fears started to show, in his fits of crying objects would go flying around in the room that when his tantrums would start up he would set items a blaze. It took Luca and his coven to try and supress Chance's powers, what were once just simple gestures of jest hard turned this poor child into a ticking time bomb. Star felt at a lost that the coven had given her one option to help her son to deal with his powers, this weighed heavy on her mind but deep down she knew it was her only option, it was the only way to ensure the safety of her baby boy. That wasn't Star's only fear as she had heard some news about her family in New Orleans that shook her to core leaving her with no other option to just leave.

Klaus who was left behind in New Orleans to try and raise his daughter and repair the damage that he had caused for taking Dahlia down, wasn't working in his favour. Elijah kept his distance from Klaus from the night when he watched his wife die in his arms, everything that had happened cut Elijah deeply even to see his own brother grieving couldn't bring him around to be by his side. When he learnt that Star in fact had become an Original this lighten Elijah heart, but any attempts that Klaus would make Elijah declined. The only time Klaus would see his brother in on the night of the full moon when he would come and get Hope to see her mother in Bayou. Klaus may of have his sister Freya by his side but there was someone who he was longing for far more that was his true love and his son. What turned out to be a visit that was meant to be a few weeks, turned into months, this began to frustrate the hybrid. Klaus just wanted all of his family to be back home with him.

Klaus had just received an unexpected phone call from Star and heard some new that brought a smile to his face, for the first time in months he felt truly happy. "After all these months you're finally going to come back home?" Klaus teased down the phone, he couldn't wait to have his wife and son back in his arms, he loved his daughter and spending time with Hope but there was always a gaping hole in his heart that he didn't fell complete.

Star who was trying to remain calm down the phone while speaking to Klaus, she didn't want him to suspect her reason for returning. "Nik, you know being here isn't out of choice, and it's helped Chance a great deal." Star hadn't told Klaus the severity of their son's condition she couldn't bring herself to tell him, was it fear? Was it that she thought that she was to balm? Truth behind that is a mystery that only Star could ever explain.

Klaus who knew that it was just as difficult for Star to be away that the reason to all this is because of her worry about their son using his powers a little too much. Klaus knew what had happened to Star when Dahlia showed a younger version of herself losing control, that is something he didn't want for his son, if these people Star knew could help his little boy then this would be all worth the wait. "I know love, I'm sorry, it's been a little difficult around here. It would be nice to see a friendly face." In truth that all Klaus wanted, he wanted to wake up with Star by his side to see her beautiful smile.

With hearing that Star knew that nothing had improved between the brothers, this worried her as they needed to somehow overcome their differences, the sooner the better. "I guess you and Elijah estranged." Star spoke with disappointment in her voice. "I hope that changes soon..." Star knew as soon as she returned she had to make sure that Mikaelson family stood united to what to come.

Klaus loved Star's positive attitude, but he didn't see any way of how he could ever repair things between him and Elijah. "It seems that Elijah has sent me to Coventry, doesn't believe that I'm turning a new leaf." Which Elijah didn't, he was sticking to the words he vowed that Klaus would stand alone.

Star knew she had her work cut out for her, and Klaus negativity wasn't helping, she see Luca walk into the room with a look of concern. "I'll fix it Nik, okay. I'll call you when I'm at the airport. Love you." Star hangs up on Klaus and turns to Luca.

Luca who was worried about Star's state of mind right now, he could see that she was being irrational wasn't listening to reason. Luca knew that she was allowing her fears of what happened to her as a child that it may be happening to her child. The fact that she was planning to just leave after what she learnt the night before gave him even more concern. "Star are you sure about doing this?"

Flashback—Last Night Stravinskij Bar Italy

Luca brought Star to a local bar to help her relax just for one night, he knew how stress she had been about the situation with her son. He just wanted to see her relax and not worry for one night, while the both sat at a table, they were joined by a acquaint of Luca's called Alexis. The mood soon changed when Alexis asked for Star's hand, as she was a seer, unknown to Luca and Star Alexis was sent their by a man unknown to reveal the dark future that was about to be told.

"Drink deep but beware. What is broke is past repair. All your oaths you betray, your sacred vows you sever. And now you see that nothing lasts for . Three yet remain, two already crossed. Yet in one year's time, you'll all be lost. As your family is undone. You will see the beast that is to come" Star tried to take her hand back but a force was stopping her, she was having flicker of images of the Mikaelson siblings as Alexis spoke. "All your family has endured, and yet the worst is still to come. An unending darkness lies before you, A lone figure ... a pale horse, a flame that will burn you all." In that moment Star see a young man she didn't know, standing proud next to Klaus, he seems familiar but the images were going too fast for her focus clearly on him. "You two have a terrible shadow over you Star, too. If this prophecy is fulfilled, you will all fall. One by friend, one by foe, and one by family."

Present Day

Star reflected back on last night's events and she was certain that she couldn't stay here while knowing all this, she had to return to New Orleans. "I've never been more certain about anything, I will not allow the only family I've ever known to be burnt to the ground." She spoke as she walked out of the room entering the living room where Chance was happily playing with building block on his play mat.

Luca greatest concern was how Klaus will react to everything that Star was going to inform him about. "What will you tell his father?" Star looks at Chance knowing that Klaus wouldn't be happy about her decision. "What you're asking us to do—" Before Luca could finish what he was about to say Star interrupted him.

"Is the only way my son will survive through any of what's to come?" Star spoke with determination in her voice there was nothing going to change her mind about this extremely hard decision that she made.

Luca wanted to try and make her see sense one more time before she left, deep down in his heart he knew that if they did this it would destroy Star. "All your life you've wanted to love and nurture a child of your own, and now your allowing that to be taken from you?"

Star was trying to hold back her tears as Luca words resonated within her. "This isn't out of choice Luca. I don't want to miss out on my son's life." Star crouched down to her son who instantly screeches at the sight of him mother, clapping his hands with joy. She kiss him while trying so hard to hold in her tears. "I hope when we meet again you'll forgive me for my actions." Star hoped that in time to come her son didn't hate her for doing this, that would be her worst nightmare, but she knew what she was willing to do might tare her family apart. She stands to her feet before turning to Luca. "Tell the others that's its going ahead, I need him to be ready." Those were her last words before heading out of the door, where she knew that her family will be facing new enemies that might possibly destroy those who she loves...
