"What the hell is going on here?" My voice low. I was standing in the living room of Emilees dads house. Her family was sitting in the couches. I was down stairs but when I was coming up I heard them talking about how Emilee was missing.
"She's not here. Her phone and keys are on the table her stuff is here as well no note we don't know we're she is." Her mom told me. My eyes went wide.
"Please tell me her running shoes aren't here." My head went back not wanting to believe what I was hearing.
"They are." That's when a thought scurry to me.
"Her horse is it here?" They all nodded.
"We can't file a missing persons report till it's been 24 hours. Sense she's an adult." Her grandfather was leaning against the door frame.
"Well everyone that can drive get going those that can ride you too." Her mom stood up with keys in her hands. I watched as everyone filed out going to cars, atvs, horses, anything even walking. I went to the table and grabbed her keys and walked back to the living room to see that only the small kids were here. I heard foot steps coming closer from behind. I turned to see a man that I haven't seen before standing there.
"Hello." His voice was gruff. I tensed up.
"Who are you?" He chuckled softly.
"I'm here to relay a message. Don't worry about the small kids I'm not here to hurt them." I glanced back at them to see that they were either playing or watching me.
"Not in here." He nodded and walked to the back door. Before following him I told the oldest which was 10 to watch the others.
"What is it where is she?" I folded my arms.
"She's alive but not for long." I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion.
"What's that supposed to mean?" He chuckled again.
"Exactly that not for long. Either way she will die. Now she's paying for what someone did." I threw my hands up in frustration.
"Who the hell is she paying for now? I can name off a lot of reasons she's not the one that should be paying for things!" He put his hands to get her but continued to look at me.
"Same person. I know she doesn't deserve it." I tried searching his eyes for an answer.
"Then why do it?" I questioned.
"It's not my choice if she dies or not." I rolled my eyes.
"There's always a choice. Now tell me stranger when and how do I stop it?" There was a silence between us for a moment.
"Tonight at about 6. I suppose you could pay for it with your life and let her live." I thought about it for a moment.
"Where?" He came closer to me.
"Come to the shooting rang." With that he passed me back into the house going out the front door. I stood there for a moment. What the hell did I just do?

Emilees POV
"You think anyone's going to care if I'm gone?" I laughed so hard my gut was hurting.
"Of course they will." The door at the side of the room opened.
"She got the message." I looked to him with a smile.
"See no. One. Cares." I laughed like a loony.
"And she is willing to pay it with her own life." I stopped and snapped my head to him. I glared. He swallowed a lump in his throat and backed to the door again.
"What you scared of her? She's tied up!" What he didn't know was that I I fact was not tied up I just kept my hands that way he had a gun. I've been tied up with more than a double knot.
"Ya but you know her past! She's been beat before and has been in the coast guard! She's a trained assassin with a motive!" His hands pointing to me. I knew this was all and act. Earlier when the first guys left I learned this guy was a cop undercover trying to bust a drug smuggle. As it turns out the first guy is Kevin's son who is trying to make his daddy proud. How cute huh?
"Oh quite your whining she can't do anything to you but talk your ear off." I smiled at this.
"What shall I talk about now? Hm? Ooh I know! How bout I talk about how much your going to fail?" He unholstered his gun ad pointed it at me. My smile only grew. I leaned my forehead against it.
"Do you want to die bitch?!" He screamed.
"Do you want me to pull the trigger?" I asked sarcastically. He just glared at me before putting it back.
"That's what I thought." I leaned back in my chair. I looked over to the other guy. He looked at me like' are you trying to die? He will kill you' I shrugged. Which only made him roll his eyes.
"Damn you Emilee." The first guy seethed. I smirked.
"Thanks you know I've always wanted to know what it would feel like to be damned. Ya know it don't feel much different." I shrugged again.
"Ah shut up." He placed his hands on his hips.
"It's about 5:45 now should we get going?" The other guy asked. The first turned back to me. I smiled.
He went to undo my 'tied' up hands when I kicked him in the groin. While he was hunched over I grabbed his gun and pointed it at him. He looked up at me.
"You can't kill me. You don't have it in ya." He teased. I lifted an eye brow and took it off of safety. I cocked it and smiled. His eyes showed fear.
The fear of you know your going to die. The fear of knowing you've been caught. I lifted it and pointed it at his shoulder I shot once him falling to the ground.
"Bitch!" He screamed.
"Thanks. A bitch is a female dog which pees on nature and nature is beautiful so you just called me beautiful." I screamed in pain.
"Now let's get you to prison shall we?" The other guy came over to me and helped pick him up not once caring that he has a bullet stuck in his shoulder.
"What a second Mark what are you doing? Why aren't you shooting the stupid bitch?" He screamed in confusion.
