"What the heck just happened?" I whisper to no one in particular- just anyone willing to give me an answer. It seemed like the originals were just getting smaller and smaller, with Carter also leaving Magcon too.

"He found out I was still in touch with Maggie." Taylor answers.

I gasp. "Maggie Linderman? His ex?"

"It wasn't like we ever did anything wrong," Taylor says, despite the guilty look on his face. "Carter saw she was calling me and that's when things got crazy."

"So he really is getting kicked off for good," Aaron says sadly.

"Well you heard Bart. It's 'all in the contract'." Cameron mumbles, adding air quotes.

It was pretty sad, honestly, that Carter would really be gone after today's show. We didn't really get to get close during the tour, but he was still a close friend to my friends.

We gather up the rest of the guys and head to the limo. The inside was wayy cooler than the outside, and was decked out in balloons and colorful lights. There was also snacks in a little basket that Hunter took to eating all by himself which was not surprising.

"Hey guys," Blake suddenly says. "What was up back in the hotel, because we heard yelling and a loud noise."

Johnny nods in agreement. "It low key sounded like somebody was dying."

"More like high key." Brandon says.

Me, Mahogany, Aaron, Cameron, and Taylor all share a glance, silently debating which one of us was going to spill the beans.

"Oh you know, just your average pranks," Aaron finally says, shrugging like it was a casual everyday thing. Which literally, it kind of was.

"Man, I wish I was there," Hunter pouts.

Carter comes in moments later and it was like his negative vibes were visible because the entire car quiets down. He doesn't say anything though, and just goes on his phone the entire trip there.

We finally make it to the show and everyone is more talkative backstage than they were on the limo. I stay backstage once they leave to perform —I definitely don't want a repeat of the last show's events.

I realize that I got a text message which was weird, since the only numbers I have are from everyone on tour. It couldn't be any of them though, because they were all on stage right now. There's a chance it's my mom, but she has an important meeting today so I highly doubt it.

Confused, I open my messages and realize the text is from a random number. It said:

Hey this is Kara from school

Kara?! How did she get my number?! And which one was it...

I decide to text her back, asking her which Kara she was. For all I knew, there could be more Kara's at my old school than just the ones I sat with at lunch. She soon texts back:

It's CARE-uhh

I text back:

Wow um hey. How did u get my number?
