author's note

this chapter and the next one were originally together but I decided to split them up since it was WAY too long but yeah anyway, keep reading :))

"Jacob!" Me and Cameron exclaim at the same time, pulling apart from each other.

"Shit!" I curse under my breath, panic coursing through my veins. I couldn't believe after so long of me and Cameron's relationship being private, someone other than Aaron had found out! I feel like hiding under a rock as Jacob stares back and forth at us, me biting my lip and letting Cameron talk first.

"Uh, Jacob... buddy," Cameron laughs nervously, running a hand through his hair. "It's not what it looks like."

"Um.. I think it is what it looks like," he says back.

"No, really, we can explain." Cameron says.

Jacob scrunches up his face. "Is this some weird anime stuff where family date because-"

"No no!" I quickly assure, shaking my head.

"We're um, not actually cousins." Cameron mutters quietly.

It felt like the world stopped when finally, the truth had come out. I thought Jacob was going to go run and tell all the others or even, yell at Cameron for being a dishonest friend. But he surprises me when he says,"Woah! So I can finally hit on Madison without it being weird!"

"What?!" Me and Cameron question at the same time.

"Nothing." He quickly says back, adjusting the black and white bandana he wore on his head.

I ignore his comment and stare him straight him in the eye. "You can't tell anyone though," I whisper, looking around me to make sure we don't have a Jacob Scene 2.0.

"I swear I won't," he says, placing his hand on his heart.

Relief washes over Cameron's face as he lets out a breath. "Thanks bro."

"No prob, man." Jacob says as he flops down on the couch. "So are you guys like.. dating or something?"

Me and Cameron exchange a look before I say, "Yup. This entire time, in fact."

Surprisingly he frowns, looking at the ground. "Oh," is all he says before Johnny comes in.

"Bro what took you so long?" He asks Jacob, pulling up his gray joggers. "We asked you to check on them like ten minutes ago."

"We worked it out already," Cameron says. "So y'all can stop acting like we have a contagious disease and come out now."

"Hey guys, they finally talked it out," Johnny yells with a smile on his face.

That's when suddenly Aaron and Mahogony come running out of know where, smacking shaving cream all over Cameron's face.

"Smack cam!" Aaron says and records it on Vine before posting it.

"Oh it's on!" Cameron says, wiping the cream from his face.

I had no idea what was happening so I ran to my room, hiding in the bathroom. I will not, I repeat, not get smack cam-d.

This makeup took way to long to be ruined by a bunch of shaving cream.

I hear shouts and screams from outside and know that they already started their game. I always knew that they did this on Vine and stuff, but I never knew they literally did it everyday.

"Come out come out, where ever you are!" I hear Jacob yell.

Crap, he was in the room!

I knew I had to defend myself and quickly look for something to use

I knew I had to defend myself and quickly look for something to use. I dig around and finally find Mahogany's bottle of shaving cream. Perfect.

I open the door and scream, charging over to Jacob and slapping him with the shaving cream. "SMACK CAM, BRO." I yell, can't help but feeling proud of myself.

Jacob suddenly tackles me to the ground and gets me back, smacking me with some weird substance.

Honey.

"Eww!" I shriek, trying to get up.

He laughs, and I notice he's staring at me.

"What?!"

He stops staring and looks a little embarrassed. "Uh... you had honey all over your eyebrow."

I groan, running into the bathroom to try to wash it off. I lock the door behind me, making sure no one sneaked up on me. When I come out Jacob is gone, and I assume everyone else is in the living room.

When I walk in it's a mess, and I almost slip from all the shaving cream on the floor. Everyone is in the living room and Aaron holds his hands up, dropping his can of shaving cream.

"I surrender."

Everyone surrenders too and we all spend the next hour cleaning up the big mess we made.

~

When it was getting late everyone finally settled down, going back into their rooms. I change into some leggings and a white tank. Grabbing my laptop, I connect the charger into the outlet that was in the bunk, getting snug in my blanket.

"We should be in Minnesota in about 24 hours," Mahogany informs me, while turning off the lights so that the only thing illuminating the room was my laptop.

"Ugh, I hope," I groan, going online to catch up in my school work. Online school was soo much easier than regular school, because you got to choose when you do it. It was literally amazing. "I'm not sure how much of this bus-WiFi I can take!"

Mahogany laughs, climbing up to her bunk. "Well hotel WiFi is much better, and so is the food, like omg."

"Speaking of food," I start. "Do we get to order room service there?"

I noticed how I was growing more and more comfortable with Mahogany after only a few hours, and I actually had no problem with that. It was nice having a friend for once since I had none back home.

"Uh yeah! And a lot of it too. When we get there you better enjoy it as much as you can, because the boys have this thing where they somehow always get us kicked out of a hotel."

"Wait seriously?" I ask. I know they can be crazy at times, well, most of the time, but were they really that bad?

"Uh huh, I think we almost got sued once... long story."

There was a moment of silence, but Mahogany sparked up the conversation again.

"We should totally hang somewhere when we get to Minnesota."

"Yeah that would be A1," I reply back. I don't know why, but I was contemplating telling her about Cameron. It's only been a few hours, but I already felt like I could trust her. I mean, she has a boyfriend too so she would understand- right? Plus Jacob knows I barely know him.

"Uh, can I tell you something?" I blurt.

"Of course!"

I suddenly chicken out, deciding not to do it. "You know what, never mind I'll tell you when we hang out in Minnesota." I tell her.

I do a little bit of school before pausing to check social media. I go on Twitter:

@ Jacob Sartorius: I wish the girl I loved knew I loved her🙈💩💓

I scrunch up my brows. Hm. Wonder who the heck he was talking about...

I favorite it anyway and keep scrolling.

@ Cameron Dallas: just know I love you x

I smile at the (x).

Love ya too, Cam.
