What do you think of me

Note: Well this poem is a little different than the ones I normally write, one of my friends, who I've known for about a year and a term now, he asked me something that caught me off guard. He said "What do you think of me?" personality wise of course, and in my head I wanted to say so many things but some of them I just couldn't say during that moment. So I guess this poem is what I really wanted to say to him, I know he'll never see and or find this but I just wanted to do it anyway, hope you enjoy.

In my head you're a god

Too unreal to belong in this world

You always put a smile on others' faces before your own

Never let people think anything less of themselves

You're too kind for you're own good

Sometimes I wonder though

How can someone fit so easily into the crowd

Yet at the same time stand out so far

Being brave enough to show everyone who you really are

Speaking from the heart not the mind

Showing the world that we all don't have to be the same

That not everyone has to be what is expected of them

Sometimes I just need to hear your voice

It brings a smile on my face just hearing those words

I want to see that smile grace your face

It just gives me that warm feeling inside

At times you're words are there to simply be there

Other times they mean the world to me

You're your own type of cool

Not a single person is like you

You're unique and different in every way

Never in bad but always in best

Something you'll always have in you

Even as I'm writing this now I think of you

Something about you doesn't quite tick right though

What lies behind the mask

What hides beneath the skin

I'll see the ugly side of you one day

But I'm sure what I think of you will remain the same

If not I will surely think more of you

Never less

So this is what I think of you
