Chapter 19- Our Bond

Orion's POV

I walked away from my sister who now had a sad look in her eyes but she still hadn't let go of James's hand, it wouldn't be like last time, we would make sure it wasn't. I walked out of the great hall and into the entrance hall before stepping out of the castle doors and onto the grounds, I had a hunch on where our brother would be. I walked across the grassy grounds and started to head in the direction of the black lake. I could see him standing there, body tensed and he was just staring at the water and didn't even look up as I approached. 

"Scorpius?" I called out to my brother but he still didn't turn not even when I was standing next to him staring at him, waiting.

"Go away Orion." His voice came out as cold as glass and I couldn't help but grin at him. He had always been more serious then I, maybe it was being the oldest of the three of us but after meeting our dad I doubted it, I think he was just exactly like him. 

"You know what I don't think I will, I think I'll stay actually." I said grinning at him.

"Orion for once be bloody serious, I won't let this happen again!" By the time he'd said the last word he was yelling, he'd turned to face me and I could feel the anger radiating off him. 

"YOU THINK I WANT ANYTHING TO HAPPEN TO THEA, SCORPIUS?" I yelled back, god how did we get here so quickly.

"It's my fault this time, just like it was last time and I won't let Thea get hurt again!" I could see all the hurt and pain etched in to his usually very controlled face. 

"It's not your fault, how were you to know. How was anyone to know that Tristan was completely insane?" I said trying to calm myself down, not in the mood for a yelling match or really wanting to get into a fight with him. 

"It is my fault, he was my friend and I let him go out with her, Orion. I should of stopped it at the start. But instead I let my sister date someone who ended up doing horrible things to her and I didn't notice till it was to late!" He sounded so broken and I couldn't help but feel sorry for my older brother. Tristan had been his friends, we didn't always have the same group of friends, even if we were brothers and more so triplets. 

"SCORPIUS!" I couldn't help it as I yelled at him, it got his attention but. He looked at me with slight surprise in his eyes, wasn't very often I yelled or got upset or mad. "It's not your fault man, it never was. Yeah he was your friend but what were you mean't to do stop Athena from dating him? She's the same age as us and as stubborn as anything. It's not her fault or your's the only one at fault here is that stupid bastard Tristan. James won't do anything wrong by her, his dads HARRY POTTER for merlin's sake. His mum is best friends with mum and not to mention he's you friend Scorpius, he shares a dorm room with you! And I'm here, mums here and then there is also our very protective father who I'm sure by now has exploded. It's not like before, nothing will happen to her." I said before sighing deeply and giving up standing and sitting on the grass by the water. Didn't take long for him to follow suit and sit to. His head was in his hands and they were clenched in his own hair as if he was going to pull it all out. It was how he'd sat in the hospital with his back agents the wall.

~~~~ FLASHBACK: 13 months earlier~~~~

"WHAT! What do you mean she's been taken to the hospital! I'm on my way now." I heard our mum say, tears filling her eyes as she grabbed her little beaded bag off the dinning room table. "Boy's get up come on we need to go now." She yelled as she grabbed our hands and apparated us to the local wizarding hospital. As soon as we arrived she rushed in and straight up to the front desk.

"How can I help you miss?" A young looking nurse said from behind the desk, she was giving mum a funny look and I wasn't sure if it was because she knew who she was or if it was because mum looked so panicked.
