Alright guys, the time has come. The moment we have all been waiting for...

We're finally gonna use our powers! Well, more like test them out, same thing.

🍱Kai's POV🍱

When the villains left, we were dead silent. No one said a word.

It felt kind of different with Karla not around. It's like we totally forgot why we were here in the first place.

"Wait--" said Clarissa. "Didn't Mal say that Ben was already at the school?"

Jeremiah and I nodded.

"Maybe we can use Karla's cookies to get Ben to fall in love with Mal!"

"I'm pretty sure that won't work." I said. "At least not until we can undo the love spell that made him love Karla."

"Well, how are we gonna do that?" Jeremiah asked. "Karla's the only that knows, because I heard she made a deal with Mal."

"That sounds like something she would do." I added.

"The deal was, if Karla can break the love spell, Mal will make Michelle love her."

I stepped towards the door that led to the other room and put my ear on it. "Uh, guys, you might wanna hear this." I said.

We all put our ears on the door and listened.

"Mal, I don't think we should do this."

"It's too late now! Ben is already here! Hurry up and pretend to be dead!"

"Ugh, I should've stayed with my friends."

"Fine! The deal is off!"

"Wait, what?!"

"You heard me, now get out!"

We took a few steps back to avoid getting hit by the door as it swung open.

"Hey Karla!" said Clarissa cheerfully. "I made you a rainbow leather jacket!"

Karla looked surprised as Clarissa handed it to her. "How did you make this?"

"Isn't it obvious that she used Evie's sewing machine?" I asked.

"This is still pretty cool." said Karla.

"So anyways, if your powers is light, then what is ours?"

Clarissa turned around from writing stuff on the whiteboard. "Well, according to this," she held Evie's magic mirror in her left hand. "I have ice powers, Michelle has fire, Jeremiah has water and plasma for some reason, and Kai has darkness."

"Darkness?" I asked. "I didn't know that was an element."

"Well, there is 8 elements," Clarissa explained. "Fire, Water, Earth, Air, Ice, Light, Darkness, and Nature."

"So if you have Ice, does that make you Elsa?" I asked her.

"I guess so. Besides, the co-"

"DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT." we all said at the same time.

"You sewed all of our suits, right?" said Karla, pointing a finger at Clarissa.

"Of course I did!" she said with excitment.

Jeremiah stood up. "Alright guys, our origin story begins...

WE'RE GONNA BE SUPERHEROES!!"

💖Clarissa's POV💖

"The only way to defeat Mal is to get her spell book." I explained. "If we get the book, and she can't make spells, game over."

First up was Karla. Since her deal with Mal was off, I figured she would've turned good again. After all, I was pretty sure she was doing this for Michelle. In 6th grade, she was the only reason Karla did the talent show.

Anyways, I had Karla put on her rainbow leather jacket and I placed a small lightbulb on the used-to-be lonely bench.

"All you have to do is light up the lightbulb." I told Karla.

"Easy." she said and snapped her fingers. I was surprised when the lightbulb actually did light up. Not to mention that it had to be plugged into something in order for it to work.

Next was Jeremiah. I designed a dark blue outfit with gloves that created the water. The best part was that there was some small electrons and cations at the fingertips, which is what plasma is made out of.

"So what am I supposed to do with this?" Jeremiah asked.

"Well, since you have water and plasma, I was thinking maybe you could use both at the same time?" I said.

"I'll try." said Jeremiah. He aimed his arms at a fence, and a huge blue plasma ball appeared at it made a big hole in the fence!

Finally, there was Kai. Since he had the power of darkness, I figured he should have a black hoodie and black pants, basically wear all black. But, I added a little grey button on one of Kai's sleeves. If he pushes the button, he becomes invisible and all you can see is his shadow.

I ripped off a branch from the bushes and used it as a fake Mal, while having an old social studies book as the spell book.

Kai pressed the button and I saw his shadow run towards the branch. Turning back into normal, Kai kicked the brach and picked up the book.

"So far, being a superhero is pretty easy." he said.

"This is just the beginning." I replied. We looked at each other smiled.

Finally, I'm done! This took forever to write. Okay now you guys should just watch this until the next chapter comes out.
