One Piece One Shots

AcexReader Modern: School Dance

A/N: I went to a school dance on Friday and I had a lot of fun. This is pretty much how my dance went on Friday and I thought it would make a good one shot. XD Sorry i didn't update over the weekend I was at my moms. Also (b/f/n) is best friends name.

I looked in the mirror at looked at myself. I was going to a school dance, I usually didn't go to these since I don't socialize much. But my best friend (b/f/n) had convinced me to go. I was wearing a (f/c) dress and my (h/c) hair was curled and pinned to the side. I had light makeup on and black flats. I heard (b/f/n) calling for me to hurry up and that it was time to leave. I ran down stairs and jumped in the car.

We got to the dance and almost everyone was there. I was sort of embarrassed, I don't normally wear dresses, or wear makeup. 

(B/f/n) poked me. "So (y/n), are you gonna dance with anyone like maybeee.... Ace?"

I covered her mouth. "Shhhhh! I don't want people to know I like him."

She just rolled her eyes "Your so stupid (y/n). You guys both flirt with each other all the time. It's so obvious he likes you! Your the only one who can't see it!" 

"I still don't believe it. I don't care what you say." I said ending the conversation. (B/f/n) and I went and bought some drinks and sat down at a table. 

"Hey (Y/n)."

I look up to see Ace. "H-hey Ace." 

Ace sat down across from me. "You look bored"

"Thats because I am." I stated. 

He just laughed. We heard Luffy, Sabo and (B/f/n) coming. (b/f/n) sat next to me while Luffy and Sabo sat by Ace.

"So what are you two doing?" (B/f/n) asked and gently elbowed me in the side. 

I kicked her under the table "Were just talking."

The whole dance we all just kind of hung out in our little group of (B/f/n), Luffy, Sabo, Ace, and I. One time Zoro came to hang out with us a little bit but not for long. It was getting near the end of the dance. Ace spilled his drink all over Luffy and Sabo so they went to go clean up. (B/f/n) Purposely left to go talk to Nami and Robin leaving me alone with Ace.

 We all heard the microphone turn on and heard Mr. Le Roux. "Attention students. Thank you all for coming, this is the last song of the night. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves!"

He set down the microphone and a slow song started to play. Ace stood up. "Hey (Y/n)? Do you want to dance with me?"

I blushed and stood up "um yeah." I couldn't hold back a smile.

Ace placed his hands on my sides and I put mine on his shoulders. I was really happy,I didn't exactly know how to act though. He locked eyes with me for a minute, I felt really embarrassed and looked away. Suddenly (B/f/n) put a hand on my shoulder, "I SHIP IT!!" She yelled. Ace and I started laughing. It got less awkward and we just started talking like we always do. I could tell I was still blushing though. Luffy came running up to us and immediately started teasing us.

"Ace has a girl friend!" Luffy shouted.

"Were not dating!" Ace yelled at his brother.

Luffy called for Sabo. Sabo smiled as soon as he saw that Ace and I were dancing. "What is this?" Sabo asked.

"Just a friendly dance." I said.

Sabo smiled "Why are you guys so far apart?"

"Because it's like we said, were not dating." Ace said.

"So. That doesn't matter!" Before me or Ace could stop him he pushed me into Ace. We were in more of a hug now but we quickly pulled apart.

"Sabo!" Ace yelled at his brother. Ace still finished dancing with me until the song ended but after it ended he started yelling at Sabo. I giggled and smiled to myself.

"See I told you."

I look next to me to see (b/f/n)

I giggled. "Shut up."

(B/f/n) hugged me "See you on Monday (Y/n)!"

"Bye (b/f/n)!" I walked outside and waited for my parents to pick me up.

"Hi (Y/n)!"

I turned around to see Ace, Sabo, and Luffy.

"Hey guys!"

We were all talking again but I caught Ace looking at me more that normal. I still couldn't keep a stupid grin off my face. I was so happy. I was a little disappointed when I saw my parents pull up in the car. 

"Bye guys! See you on Monday!" I said grabbing my bag.

Lufffy and Sabo both waved at me. Ace smiled "See ya (Y/n)"

I smiled and got into the car.

A/n: Am I the only one who gets a happy and smiley from that?? Because I honestly couldn't stop smiling. Anyways I hope you all enjoyed this! Sorry if it was stupid XD I'll have a better one tomorrow! Love ya all!!
