AcexReader Can't Help Falling In Love

(Y/n) POV

Today. Today I'll do it. I have to. I can't keep hiding my feelings forever. Weather or not he feels the same, I have no idea, but I'm still going to tell him. I'm going to tell Ace my feelings for him. I was crazy about him, I would always get butterflies around him, he always made me so happy and he would always make me laugh.

I was nervous already, and he wasn't even awake yet! I took in a deep breath to help calm down. I put on a pair of dark blue jeans and a solid (f/c) shirt. I did my hair and put on some light makeup. I walked out of my room and went to the kitchen to make breakfast for myself.

I made myself some (f/f). I sat down at the table with my plate that was over flowing. I ate quite a it but I guess that's part of being nervous. As I was stuffing my face, the door opened to show the man I was so nervous to talk to.

"Oh! Good morning (Y/n)!" He greeted.

I swallowed my food. "H-Hi Ace! Good morning!" 

"It smells good in here (Y/n)! What did you make?" he said going towards the counter. 

"I made (f/f)!" My heart was racing, I could tell him now! It's just us in here and no one else! Now is the perfect time! I took a deep breath. "A-Ace. C-Can I t-talk to you?"

He looked at me with concern. "Is there something wrong?"

"N-No! I-I. Ace I-" I was cut off by the door being swung open.

"What smells good yoi?"

I saw Marco and was sort of upset that he walked in at this time, but also sort of happy that he had walked in.

He grabbed a plate and got himself some food. I saw Ace lean over and whisper something to him, he just nodded in response. It made me even more nervous to see them whispering.

Marco sat down next to me. "How are you yoi?"

"O-Oh! I'm fine! How about you?" I asked. 

"I'm good." He looked over at Ace. "Do you need help with your work today yoi?" I didn't like the way he said work, he was hiding something. I know it.

Ace shook his head. "No, I don't have much, but it's really important so I'd prefer to do it myself."

He shrugged. "Ok yoi."

Ace said goodbye and left to his room. I was really confused, what had they been talking about? This just made me even more nervous. I decided I would go to my room and play my piano to help me relax.

I played my piano for about two hours, I was trying to write a new song but I wasn't having any luck. I wrote down some notes and was about to start playing again but I heard a knock at the door.

I got up and opened the door and saw Ace, my face immediately heated up and turned bright red. "H-Hi Ace! How can I help you?"

He gave me a small smile "Can I come in?"

"Y-Yeah! Of course!" I opened the door and let him in. I shut the door behind him. "What do you need Ace?"

He reached in his pocket and pulled out a piece of paper that was folded. "I was wondering, can you please play this? I wrote it."

I took the paper from him and opened it and sat at the piano. "I didn't know you wrote music."

"W-Well I don't usually, but I wrote this about someone who's really important to me, I just hope its good! I really want them to like it." He said. I didn't notice the light pick blush that dusted his cute freckled cheeks.

I finished playing the song. I felt my heart sink. The lyrics, he was in love with someone. It couldn't be me because he said he was hoping the person will like it so that means that the person hasn't heard it yet. I then realized that Ace was still standing there next to me and I hadn't said anything to him.

"It's a beautiful song Ace! I really like it!" I paused and looked down. "Whoever she is, she is one lucky girl."

"Really! You like it!?" He asked.

I nodded my head. "You did a good job."

"I'm glad you like it (Y/n). I took a lot of time on it. Do you know who it's about?"

I shook my head not wanting to look up because I was afraid of crying. "I have no clue."

  He placed a finger under my chin and made me look up at him. We were face to face only centimeters away from each other. "She's absolutely beautiful. She has beautiful (e/c) eyes and the brightest smile. She's smart and funny and so talented. She's overall perfect." He paused and smiled. "She's also right in front of me.

I blushed like crazy. "M-Me? R-Really?!"

He nodded. "Everything about you (Y/n) make me go crazy. I just can't help falling in love with you."

I smiled. "I-I love you too Ace!"

He gently placed his lips on mine, closing the small gap between us. I wrapped my arms around his neck while his arms wrapped around my waist.

We broke the kiss and he placed his forehead on mine and smiled. "I've been really nervous to tell you how I feel (Y/n)."

I laughed. "I was going to confess to you this morning about my feelings, but Marco came in."

"Of course pineapple head came in at the wrong time."

 I giggled and kissed Ace again, happy that he now knew my feelings.
