(Y/n) POV

I walked around the ship looking for something to do. Luffy, Chopper, and Usopp were playing and I didn't exactly want to run around like an idiot. Robin was reading and Nami was drawing maps, so I didn't want to interrupt them. I thought about going to see Sanji, but I don't think being alone with him in the kitchen is a good idea. I looked around for Zoro but didn't see him. He must be training in the crows nest again. I walked up to the crows nest and just like I had thought he was up there training.

"Hey Zoro." I said and sat on the bench.

He continued to lift his weight. "Hey (y/n), what's up."

I looked at him with a bored expression. "There's nothing to do. So I thought I'd come see what you were up to. And of course you are training."

He looked at me but still continued to lift the giant weight. "Yeah so, if I'm gonna be the worlds greatest swordsman I need to get stronger."

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever. I mean I get it but that doesn't mean you have to spend all your time training. Take a break sometime. Its nice."

"I do take breaks. I sleep don't I."

"You know what I mean smartass. Have fun for once."

He put his weight down. "Pass me that towel."

I grabbed the towel next to me and threw it at him. "Seriously you need to take a break and just hang out with people."

He wiped the sweat off his face and walked towards me. "I'm with you right now aren't I?"

I punched him playfully. "Well you don't seem to be enjoying yourself."

He smiled "how would you know if I'm having fun or not?"

"Are you saying you are then?"

He sat down next to me. "Maybe. Does this tell you?"

I looked at him with a confused look. He looked nervous, and I didn't understand why. Suddenly Zoro was really close to my face. I blushed "z-zoro! What are you doing!"

A light blush dusted his cheeks. "Close your eyes."

I closed my eyes shut and I felt his lips on mine. I immediately kissed him back. He wrapped his arms around my waist to pull me closer. My arms went around his neck.

"Thanks (y/n). That was a nice break." He looked at me with an embarrassed smile.

I smiled back at him. "See. You should take breaks more often."

His blush was cute. "W-well. I wanted to ask you something."

"W-what is it?"

He looked to the side to hide his face. "W-will you be my girlfriend?"

I giggled. "Your cute when your embarrassed. And yes, I will be your girlfriend."

He smiled and looked at me. "Really?!"

"Of course!"

He picked me up and spun me around. He set me down and wrapped his arms around me. "Thank you (y/n)."

I smiled. "You have to promise me something."

"Anything."

"You have to take more breaks. You have to spend time with me."

He did a small laugh and smiled. "I think I can do that. How about at the next island we go to dinner? Just the two of us?"

"That sounds great!" I paused. "As long as I lead the way, I don't wanna get lost."

"Oi! I'm not that bad!"

I rolled my eyes. "Sure you aren't."

"Shut up woman."

I was about to say another smartass comment but he stopped me by catching me in another kiss.

I laughed. "Well, I guess that's one way to shut me up."

"Thanks for making me take a break (y/n)."

I smiled and hugged him. "Sure thing. And remember you have to break more often."

He hugged me back. "I know."
