Just Friends

Part 2

Waking up the next morning, Sergio saw that Ale was still in bed with him and he smiled. He hugged Aleana harder, pulling her into his chest.

"You awake yet?" Sergio asked in a near whisper.

"You have morning breath." Ale said with a small laugh, they both got up and brushed their teeth. Ale spent so much time in the Ramos' household that she had extra clothes, toothbrush and everything. They returned to the bed.

"At what time are you supposed to go pick up your stuff?" Ale asked looking at Sergio.

"I've got training until four. How about 4:30 meet up at the apartment?" Said Sergio.

"Do you want me to pick you up from training since my car is bigger?"

"Sure, four o'clock it is. What are you going to do today?" Asked Sergio.

"I'm actually meeting with Sara, decorating the kid's room and playroom." Ale said with a smile, being an interior decorator was her passion she was an incredible one too.

"I actually think I should be leaving." Sergio said looking at his phone. "I'm going to shower really quickly. I'll go downstairs in a bit."

Ale nodded and headed downstairs. She noticed that Vania, Sergio's sister in law has arrived.

"So, when are we going to be able to call you a Ramos?" Vania asked with a smirk.

"Never." Ale said rolling her eyes, they were very much like family. Paqui and Jose María had taken Aleana almost as their daughter since her parents' passing when Aleana got back from college.

Sergio walked down into the kitchen and said a quick goodbye, leaving the women eating breakfast alone.

"So, Ale, are you free today? We were thinking of going to lunch." Paqui asked.

"Actually I'm kind of busy today." Aleana said. "I have to meet Sara, Iker's wife, because I'm decorating some rooms in their house. And after that I'm going to help Sergio move out of his apartment."

"So, basically now that the evil queen isn't with Sergio anymore you guys are going to go back to being a couple without the label of being in a relationship." Miriam said laughing a bit and the other women nodded.

"Ale, Sergio really loves you. You are perfect for each other. You need to get together. Plus he's amazing, and I'm not just saying that because he's my son." Paqui said patting Ale on the back, but she just rolled her eyes.

About an hour later, Aleana drove back to her apartment and had a quick shower since she was meeting with Sara in a bit.

Arriving at Sara's house was a bit of a challenge. Aleana was certainly getting more famous for being one of the top interior decorators in Spain since Queen Letizia had contacted her to redecorate Princess Leonor's bedroom. Plus, Sara being Real Madrid's goalkeeper's wife, her house was always filled with paparazzi trying to get a shot of the soccer player.

As Sara opened the door, Aleana went in to hug her. "Sara, we haven't seen each other in so much time!"

"I know, ever since Sergio started dating Pilar again." she said while rolling her eyes. "Heard Sergio wasn't allowed to see you anymore."

"They broke up." Ale said with a smirk. "Yesterday"

"I cannot believe it. I'm so happy for Sergio! She was just a negative force dragging him down." Sara said. She knew that this was the perfect time for Ale and Sergio to start something. To try and be a couple, but Sara knew better than to say that. She knew that Ale hated being told that. In her mind they were just friends, but everyone knew they were meant to be together.

As they finished their plans for the room Ale got a text from Sergio saying that he was just about to be finished with his training so she headed over to Ciudad Real Madrid. Sergio had given her a semi-permanent guest pass to enter and exit easily in and out of the Real Madrid training center.

As she headed towards the seats, she saw that the players were just about to finish their stretches.

On the field, Gareth Bale was talking to Cristiano and Marcelo while stretching his legs. As he looked over he saw a girl walking towards the seats that were placed in the field.

"Who's she?" He asked, almost mesmerized by the way she was walking and the way her face was being lit up by the afternoon sun.

"She's Sergio's best friend." Marcelo said smiling towards Aleana. She had always been very friendly with Sergio's teammates.

"Is she single?" Gareth asked immediately and the men laughed.

"It's-it's complicated." Cristiano told him and Marcelo nudged him.

"I think she is , why don't you go ask Sergio?" Marcelo said trying to hide his smile. As Gareth left to go ask Sergio, Marcelo turned to Cristiano. "Just wait, let's see how Sergio is going to react."

Cristiano just stood there, being a bit concerned about Gareth because he knew how protective Sergio was of Aleana. The guys grew concerned as they saw that Gareth walked by Sergio and went straight towards Aleana. Sergio looked back at Marcelo and Cristiano throwing a 'what the hell did you tell him' look.

Sergio looked over at Ale and saw her laughing with Gareth and quickly went over to see what was happening.

"Gareth, I see you met Aleana." Sergio said rolling his eyes a bit.

"Yes, I had the pleasure to meet her just a second ago." Gareth said grabbing Aleana's hand and kissing it, rage bubbled inside of Sergio since he knew what a player Gareth was. He wanted Aleana to leave as soon as possible. Sergio looked at his watch and noticed that practice had finished a minute ago.

"Ale, we need to leave. Pack up my place." Sergio said taking Ale's hand and pulling her away from the Englishman.

"Wait, Ale, can I have your number?" Gareth asked.

"You can get it from Sergio!" She said while being pulled by her best friend. As they went through the tunnel to exit into the parking lot Aleana asked: "So what's his deal?"

"I think he's gay." Sergio said but Ale just rolled her eyes and laughed . His anger lowering a bit as he heard her laugh.
