*Mikeys POV*
"I'm home!"I called to Gee. Mom was on a business trip with dad.
"Good, come on I have a deal."
"What?"
"Some dealers gonna give us alcohol for cheap. Let's go, in the car."I smiled and ran into his piece-of-shit car.
"Who's the dealer?"Yeah me and Gee did drink alcohol but I limited myself. One bottle a day. Gee was an alcoholic on the other hand. Five, six bottles a day. He drank Tallboys though. Spent almost 30$ a day on alcohol. He worked hard for it though. It was his guilty pleasure. We pulled up at a cemetery and saw a person in a gray hoodie and baggy sweatpants giving what looked like a bong to a guy and him handing the person a wad of money.
"That's them."Gee said. He got out of the car and I followed him. He ran a hand through his shaggy hair, letting it fall in his face. We walked up to the person and as we got closer I could see it was a black woman with a gold necklace with the letter A on it.
"What you need?"She said in a thick African accent.
"Let me get 20 Tallboys."
"44.82 I need it now."She said. Gee handed her the money and she gave him the stuff. As soon as she did that, she turned and ran away. I got into the car with Gee as he drove home. He invited the guys, and the girls over for a movie night. We pulled up in the driveway a split second before Franks car did as well as a pink car, Ashley's I assumed. They all got out of the car and I saw Franks face lit up as he saw the Tallboys in Gee's backpack. We all went inside and a few minutes later Ashley came in with Valentina. Valentina was wearing a red dress that went down to her mid-thighs. Her hair was straight now and in a messy bun. Only now did I realize that she had a nice rack and a really good ass.
"Hi guys."Ashley said. Valentina on the other hand stared at the ground fiddling with her fingers. We started a movie and all sat around the room on the floor.
"Let's play a game."Frank said in a bored tone.
"Never have I ever!"Gee screamed. Valentina laughed hysterical and smiled.
"I haven't played that since Intermediate school! Yes!"She said. Gee got shot glasses out and set them around a Tallboy. As we pulled out the alcohol I noticed Ashley moved onto Valentina's lap.
"Your name is too long. I need a short nickname."I said to Valentina.
"Valerie?"She suggested. I shrugged.
"Val?"
"Yeah, that's good. Okay. So, never have I ever broken a bone."Ray said. Gee, Val, and Frank took a shot. We continued playing until the whole bottle was gone and we were slightly buzzed. There was no way I would let Val and Ashley go home buzzed. So I let them stay here. I took Val into my room I laid her down in my bed next to me and she cuddled into my shirt. I wrapped my arms around her and closed my eyes, thinking.
Do you love me like I love you, Val?

*Valentinas POV*
My hands shook as I counted my money. I took out the blunt and handed it to someone. I looked up and saw it was the Mikey dude. I gasped and took back the blunt. I felt as if I couldn't give it to him, as if, almost like I, loved him. I shook my head and handed it to him, as he gave me the money. Another person came up to me asking for heroine. I got the needle and the heroine and handed it to the person. It was...Ashley?! I screamed and tugged at my hair as I saw her walk away.
"Ashley no!! That ruins your life!"I yelled at her, pulling up my sleeve and showing her the bruise. She smiled at me and walked away. I tried running after her but couldn't. Another person came up to me, asking for a blunt. I had given my last one to Mikey...I eventually said I didn't have one. He pulled out an M9 and aimed at my head. I froze. He pulled the trigger.
I sat upright, gasping for air. I clutched my chest and met a pair of eyes.
"You okay?"Mikey said. I swallowed and nodded.
"You don't look it."
"Look get out of my case. I'm fine."He cocked an eyebrow and pointed at my arm. I looked down and saw my bruise was there. I rolled down my sleeve and looked in his eyes again.
I need to stop this. It's ruining my life. It's too addicting though.
"Lady who did my blood work messed up, bursted a vein."He nodded his head slowly.
"Do you ever have that one person in your life that you feel that you have to protect your whole life?"
Me right now about you. I think I'm falling for you...
"Yeah. That's me right now."
"Is he in our school."
"What is this 20 questions?"I said with a slight chuckle.
"Yes. Is he cute?"
"Very."
"What grade?"
"Our grade."
"Eyes?"
"He's got these, these, remarkable, saucer eyes. Hazel, filled with joy."I said dreamily.
"Tall?"
"Yeah."
"Name?"
"Mikey. Mikey Way."
Yes. I'm falling for you.
"Good because I love you."
"I said that aloud?!"
"Yeah, it's alright though."
"So...are we a thing?"
"I guess."Mikey said.
"Let's not rush things though."I said as he smiled.
"You know what?"
"What?"
"You're much different when you're not at school."I frowned at this. I hated when people brung that up.
"I guess."I quickly faked a yawn.
"I'm going to try to sleep. Goodnight Mikey."
"Goodnight Val."
