Stuck In Wonderland

'Amanda...' The name kept going through my head as I slept, in all my dreams I could hear a boy say my name.. Never in my life had I been so utterly creeped out, even in my good dreams, I'd always hear him calling out to me.. 'Amanda..' There it is again. 'Amanda.' And again, where is it coming from? I thought to myself. 'Amanda!!' I heard, then felt a throbbing pain in my chest. I woke up, panting and gasping for air. Tears lined my eyes like a drawing. "Amanda, are you okay?" A boy whispered. I quickly looked up at him and stumbled away. "W-who are you? A-and how do you know my name?" I asked, trembling in fear. "An old friend. Now, we need to get out of here. Quickly." He grabbed my hand and ran me over to the window, he swung it open and I ripped my hand away. "What do you even think your doing?! Your going to get us both hu--?!" My whisper/yell was cut of by the sound of something break down stairs, then a few thumps. He grabbed my hand, pulled me close and jumped out the window. I was scared for my life, and my family's. 

We hit the water, he made sure that I was alright. Once we were under water, I was a little more calm. Yes, I know, cat's don't like water. Except for me, especially the water in the enchanted pond. It felt amazing over my skin, and it felt so refreshing. I was starting to loose my breath, and I needed air. The boy noticed and swam me back to the surface. He brought me over to the land and quickly ran somewhere where we could see the house but anyone in it or around it couldn't see us. 

I sat down not wanting to look back. But then... I noticed.... a glow coming from the house... I looked, my eyes widened at the side... The light of the fire danced in my Amber eyes as I watched the house go up in flames. Oh my god.... N-no... No.. No. Nonono! I screamed in my thoughts. I started running out to see if I could put the fire out, but the boy grabbed my hand and stopped me. "My sister is in there, I have to help her." I choked out well fighting against his grip. He stepped closer, and closer, then took me into a hug. "I-it's to late for them... I could only save one..." He whispered gently into my ear. The tears instantly started running down my face. WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE THIS?!!?! All I felt was pain, nothing else. I collapsed, he came down with me. I was sobbing. He kinda walked us over to the wall, and sat there with an arm around me. He began to sing something.. it's so calming... I thought, with the tears still streaming down my face, I started to fall asleep. He gently wiped the tears away from my eyes. And the last thing I heard before I fell asleep was..

"Sweet dreams Amanda... I'll protect you.... I swear.."
