I gasped as I woke up. I was still with that boy, I was still cuddled up to him, and my face was still stained with tears. I could still hear the charcoal pop, and the smell of ashes still filled the air.. why?..... why is this happening?..... why me?.... Was all I could think about.. I placed my head back down in a more comfortable position. Then I realized, I DON'T EVEN KNOW THIS GUY'S NAME!!! I stood up and walked around. Damn, he didn't have any food here.. then again, this is just a few bushes and trees, why would there be food stashed around?

"Is something wrong?" The boy asked sleepily. "Nah, it's just my family died in a house fire, I was saved by a stranger, who then proceeded to comfort me and snuggled with me.. no, I'm perfectly fine." I snarled back at him. "Okay, jeez. Don't take your anger ou-" "why not? My little sister was in there, she had her hole damn life ahead of her. So why did you save me instead of her?" I spat out, the boy stayed quiet. I continued to look for food.

After a while he finally spoke up, breaking the silence. "Whats done is done. We can't change the past, but we can change the future. Come on, we need to go before they find us." I almost ignored him, my mind was focused on finding food and whatever said, 'you can never escape'. "Alright fine, but I better get some food or I'll scratch your head off." "I know.. here." He says well tossing some bread to me, I caught it thankfully. "You had food this hole time and you didn't tell me?!" "It's fun watching a cat hunt." He chuckled. "I hate you" "Love you to, Kitty." He teased with a wink, then started off into the forest, I followed. I was, this close to smacking him tho! This close! "So stranger, mind telling me your name? You were to busy jumping out windows and singing lullabies to tell me last night" I asked, eating the bread.

"You'll find out soon enough, don't worry."
