Everything will be okay

Chapter 20

Jamari: 

I slowly opened my eyes and heard beeping sounds all around me. My vision was so blurry I just seen like 4 people moving around. I closed my eyes and started blinking my eyes and I could now see more, I was defiantly in the Hospital. 

"Ms.Dime are you okay?". A nurse said running to my side. 

I nodded my head then she took this mask thing off my face.

"Water pleas-- 

I looked down and my stomach  and it was enormous, I started screaming on the top of my lungs.

"What the fuck is this? Did someone do some voodoo shit on me!". I said sitting up looking at it. 

"Ms.Dime it's December,you've been in a coma since June".The Nurse calmed me down. 

I looked out the window and seen it was snowing outside my eyes got big and I looked at all of them like they were crazy. I looked down at all the gifts beside me and smiled. 

I seen it's a girl balloon and I almost piss myself. 

"I'm having a Girl". I said smiling widely pulling up my shirt. 

"Yes,your having a girl". She said giving me a warm smile. 

Another nurse came over with my water and I gulped it down in 2 seconds,this water tasted so good my mouth felt like sand paper a few seconds ago. 

I moved my body to quick and I felt a sharp pain coming from my private area. 

"Jamari don't move to much,theirs a catheter we are about to take it out in one second".  She said getting so glad. 

A doctor came in and greeted me they took the catheter out and ran a few test and made sure the baby was okay. An Ultrasound Technician rolled in her equipment and did an ultrasound for me so I can see her, everything was just so crazy.

"Your Boyfriend Devin wanted me to record your daughter's birth so we saved all the pictures and me and the nurse put it in a little book for you,you can see a growth a little". She said handing me the book. 

"Oh my gosh Thank you guys-- so much". I said trying not cry. 

"You are welcome. You are a very strong girl Jamari and I salute you for that when you ca--

"Jamari?". Devin said coming with the biggest smile on his face. 

I couldn't help but smile back at him,the nurse quickly left and Devin ran over to my side and just gave me the longest I miss you hug.  

"Jamari-- I just can't believe this it's been so long".He said letting go of me,kissing my forehead. 

"I know,How you been?What's been going on". I said moving over so he can sit down. 

"I've been good just making money and coming up here seeing you and babygirl in there". He said rubbing my belly.

After he did she started kicking.

"I'm Back baby". He said talking to her. 

"I've bought her so much stuff already she is gonna be set". He said  smiling at my belly. 

"Why you didn't wait for me". I pouted. 

"I'm sorry after you left I had way too much free time,you don't have to worry about nothing. I can't wait until you come home". He said looking into my eyes. 

"Thank you baby,can I ask you something though?". I said trying not to get teary eye. 

"Yeah anything". He told me. 

"How did I get here,did you find me?". I said a little shaking, 

He looked away from me and stared at the window. 

"I um did. I came home around 12 and I seen a figure laying on my porch. I pulled my gun out because I was scared then I walk up to the figure and it was you. I rolled you over and blood was coming out your head,I thought you were dead so I started freaking out but you had a pulse. I hurried up and called the ambulance and took you in the house,you were naked so I put some clothes on you and all I could so is hold you tight praying you wasn't dead until the ambulance came. I remember I kept blaming myself for leaving you alone and not calling every hour like I always do so I started beating myself up about it . A couple days after the hospital had you here they said you were raped,I just felt so depressed then when you hit 5 months and they told me the gender a felt happiness again and the doctor's said you were getting better so I just been so happy these last 3 months,I knew you would push through it". He said. 

I wiped the tear away that rolled down his cheek  and rubbed his back. 

 "That night,I was in the bed up waiting for you and Legend texted me saying he had to tell me something and he was outside so I went to see wassup,he started driving away from house talking about he just wanted to dive and when we hit the express way Jarnell jumped up from the back seat and choked me and told Legend to pull to the side. He threw me to the trunk of his truck,undress me,and made Legend record him fucking me. He only did it to punish Legend because he thinks Legend likes me,Legend told him to stop but that didn't do nothing but made it worst. He threaten Legend if he didn't have sex with me so he had to d--

I started crying again and Devin gave me a hug and I cried on his shoulder. 

"I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you,I was the one that need to protect you,I swear on my momma i'm killing that nigga". He said holding on to me. 

"It wasn't your fault Devin stop blaming yourself,can we just stop talking about it I keep getting these chills". I said breaking from his hold to dry my tears. 

"Alright,so have you been thinking of baby names". He said rubbing my belly. 

"No so help me". 

Devin stayed with me for the rest of day we literally talked for HOURs,I could go home probably tomorrow. I had a million thoughts racing through my head,I can't beleive I was gone for that long . Wonder where's Legend? Wonder how's my sister? It was just so much stiff.
