Chapter 9

Jamari:

After about a Hour of trying to open the door I let him have it and I walked to the couch. I ended up telling him my story, I did shed a few tears but he said some very encouraging words. Devin even opened up to me .

He keeps telling me I can stay with him but that's to much. At the moment we was going to get my sister Imma spend the night one day to satisfied him and go back home he can't change the Emotionally and Physically Pain that's been in my life. I mean yeah that would be dope if I could live with him but I know my mother will never let me just take her daughter and leave.

Devin pulled up to my house and I took my Seat Belt off.

"You need me to come in?". Devin said as I opened the door.

"No please don't". I said quickly.

"Okay well pack up as much as you can and if you forget anything I can buy it". He said before I shut the door.

I nodded my head and walked up to my door. Both of my parents was home today . I walked upstairs and Jayonna was in there.

"Put your stuff on we're leaving". I said going to the closet .

I folded up some up and stuffed it in my overnight bag.

"Jamari I bought you a pair of Tim--

"Where the fuck your ass is going?". My mom said looking at me and Jayonna.

"I wanted to spend the night with my Friend".

"Babe Jarnell out in the lawn fighting some guy go grab my bat". My dad said coming out my room.

I ran over to the window and seen Devin on top of Jarnell.

"Oh No No No". I said running out my room with my mom.

I got infront of my mom and ran to the both of them.

"Move Jamari". My dad said trying to get Jarnell .

He picked him up , Jarnell looked at me anger and spit blood in my face as my dad held both of his hands.

"You tryna ran away with this nigga go then". He said mugging me.

"So that's why you was packing?". My mom said looking at me in disgust.

"You little sneaky bitch chasing after Dick I see! Jamari you wanna go then go you're not welcomed here any more. I hope he fuck your shit up... Good job Jarnell". My dad said.

I wiped off the blood off my face and walked towards my house but my Mom pushed me back towards Devin .

"You don't own anything here.. Get off my fucking Property and never come back We can finally be a Family without you". She said shaking her head.

Tears streamed down my face,family really ain't shit I swear to god.

I reached my hand out for Jayonna we don't have to be here,but my Mom pulled her back.

"She's my Daughter, get gone now before I call the police". She said pushing her to the house.

Devin pulled me back but I couldn't stop looking at Jayonna,she started crying out my name.

"I'll be back Jayonna". I said before get in the car.

I shut the door and had a break down,I can't believe they are doing this to me . All I could hear is Jayonna's cries .. I couldn't watch her it's breaking me inside.
