LadyNoir One Shot: Pain

Pain.

The feeling flooded her.

She couldn't move.

She had been flung to the wall so hard, even Superman would've ended up with a few broken bones. She slid down, the warm oozing of blood trickling down her skin. She was sure she had broken a good number of bones. She could hear Chat Noir's screams of her name, and she felt horrible, for she was the cause of the pain in his voice. He came rushing to her aid, craidling her head in his leather covered hands, his eyes brimming with tears as he looked down onto his beloved. Her eyes began to flutter closed as his eyes widened with fear. "Ladybug!! Don't you dare close your eyes!!" His voice was cracking and he was barely choking back his tears. "C-Chat..... you have to stop him." The current akuma victim was raging through the streets of Paris, destroying everything in its path and turning people to stone. "No!! I can't leave you here, you're hurt! What if you-" He was cut off by Ladybug gently touching his cheek. "Chat, I'll be fine. You have to stop him. His akuma is in his chisel. Here, take my yo-yo and capture the akuma. Save the city Chat. Save us all." She said weakly as her eyes drifted downwards. He nodded, tears flowing freely from his eyes as he propped her up against the wall. He grabbed her yo-yo and gently kissed her forehead. "I promise I won't let you down m'lady." And he ran off to fight the villain. Seeing his lady so weak and hurt, he grew angry. Extremely angry. His rage gave him a new sort of strength he didn't know he had, and with that, he was easily able to defeat the villain and capture the akuma, just as his Lady would. He threw her yo-yo in the air and everything went back to normal. He immediately ran back to where Ladybug was and he felt a wave of relief wash over as he saw her slowly hoisting herself off of the ground. He rushed to her side and helped her up. "Chat, you did it" She said tiredly as she collapsed into his strong arms. Panic immediately filled him once again and he hooked one arm under her legs and the other on her back, gently lifting her. "M'lady, are you okay? Please, what can I do to help? Where does it hurt?" He asked, worry clear in his voice. She only chuckled at him and nuzzled her head into the crook of his neck. "Well for starters, we could go somewhere a little more private." Only then did he notice all the people looking at Ladybug and himself, mirroring the same worried expression he wore. He nodded and as quick as a cat, he had relocated the both of them atop of a rooftop, laying Ladybug down flat on her back as he inspected her for any wounds. "Chat, really, I'm fine, there's no need for any fuss." She said gently as she sat up, her blue orbs met his emerald ones, and she saw the tears threatening to fall down his masked face. He clung to her tightly, as if she were his life source. As if he would die if he ever let go. The tears were falling freely down his face now as he nuzzled his head into her neck, inhaling her sweet scent. "Don't you ever do that again Ladybug. You scared me to death! I thought I'd lost you. I thought you were dead. Please, don't ever put yourself in a position like that again. I'm the one who should've taken that blow. I vowed to protect you, and I failed. Please, please never do that again. I don't know what I would do if I lost you.Promise me, promise me you will never leave me. Ever." By this point, Chat had moved Ladybug from the floor to his lap, not wanting to feel alone. Wanting to feel her, and reassure himself she was in fact alive and this wasn't a nightmare. She brought his head up with her finger and they locked eyes. "I promise my kitty, I promise with all my heart." By now, she too was crying. He cupped her face with his hand as the other held her waist, and he brought his head closer to hers, not breaking their gaze. She too leaned in and they locked lips, her hands on his shoulders, draping around his neck, eyes sliding shut. She heard the familiar beep of her miraculous but she ignored it. Chat noticed this and pulled away. "M-M'lady, your running out of time." he whispered breathlessly, as he pushed a strand of her hair back, revealing her earings. She pulled him close and whispered in his ear "I love you Chat. I trust
you." He then heard his own miraculous beep and he too ignored it, instead he recaptured her lips with his own, and soon enough, both their transformations wore off and they pulled apart smiling at their other half.

"I love you purrr-incess."

She giggled and playfully rolled her eyes at her partner.

"I love you too, my silly kitty."
