LadyNoir/Adrienette Short Story: Familiar (Chapter 8)

She blushed heavily at his nickname for her, and she playfully rolled her eyes at him. Just then a familiar reddish-pink glow surrounded her, and Tikki plopped down into her hands. Marinette immediately reached inside her purse for a cookie to five to her little friend. As if on cue, Chat's own transformation wore off as a green glow enveloped him, returning him to normal. "Aaaaaadrieeeennnnn!!! I'm sttaaaarrrving. You never feed me!!!" A small cat like creature whined as he lay down in Adrien's hands, his eyes closed. Adrien was about to say something when Tikki cut him off. "Plagg, don't be so rude. I'm sure Adrien takes great care of you." She said brightly as she smiled at the boy in front of her. Plagg's eyes widened and he jolted upright. "TIKKI!!!!" He screamed as he tackled the fairy like creature in Marinette's hands. "Hello there Plagg. Nice to see you too." She giggled slightly and the two flew ff to the edge of the building, catching up with each other. Marinette giggled as she saw the two sitting together. "They're so cute." She remarked. "Yeah" The blonde boy replied as he slid an arm around her shoulder, pulling her close. "Almost as cute as us." He whispered in her ear with a smirk and she felt a large grin plaster across her face. "Us?" She quizzed as she turned to face him, her arms draping around his neck as his held her waist firmly. "Yeah." He replied as he drew his face closer to hers. "Us." She giggled and playfully tapped his nose and he backed up a little. "My Princess, My Lady....." He whispered as he drew himself closer to her once more, their noses touching. "I love you, with all my heart. Nothing can ever change the way I feel about you. I vow to protect you with my life and i would die to save you. No matter whether or not you're wearing the mask, you are still my same Marinette. A beautiful, kind, courageous, selfless girl who is always willing to put others before herself. Marinette, Ladybug...... Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked with so much love and care in his voice. She smiled, the biggest, brightest smile you have ever seen, and she reached up onto her tiptoes and kissed him. It was a short sweet kiss, and when they parted, he was mirroring the same smile she wore.

"Is that a yes?..........."
