LadyNoir/Adrienette Short Story: Familiar (Chapter 6)

They leapt from rooftop to rooftop, making it to the Eiffel tower in about 3 minutes. Ladybug gracefully back flipped off of the last building, and landed on one of the highest peaks of the tower, where even the elevator didn't reach. she walked over to the edge and sat down, dangling her legs off the structure. Chat Noir followed her, sitting down next to her. "Soooo..... What did you want to talk about?" Ladybug asked, still staring off into the sky. The akuma took quite a while to fight, so it was now night time, around 9 pm. Ladybug was staring at the moon, not taking any notice of her partner moving closer to her, until he gently cupped her face, turning her to look at him. His body had also moved to face her. Her eyes widened at the feel of him grasping her waist to turn her body towards him. He had one of his legs crossed, and the other still dangling off the tower. she was now in the same position .They were so close, she could practically feel the heat radiating off his body. "C-chat?" She whispered. She didn't know what was happening, what he was planning on doing. "I can't believe I didn't realise sooner, I can't believe I was so dense not to see it earlier." He whispered. Her eyes grew wide. "W-what? I-I don't know what you're talking a-" She was suddenly cut off by something soft.

Chat's Lips.....

Her eyes widened in pure shock, but she had to admit, she liked it. She obliged to his touch, closing her eyes and returning the kiss. His hand was still cupping her cheek, and the other still around her waist, pulling her extremely close, eliminating all space between the two. Her leg that was originally dangling off the tower was now on top of his own dangling leg, and her crossed leg resting atop of his. Her hands went up to his shoulders, and one went up to the soft locks of his unruly hair. His hand that was on her cheek went down to join its twin on her waist, and he wrapped his arms around her. They both pulled away breathlessly, a deep blush staining their cheeks. Chat's arms were still wrapped tightly around his lady, and her hands were on his leather covered chest. "Marinette...." He whispered breathlessly. She immediately dropped her hands and looked down. Chat frowned and brought one of his hands to gently lift her chin up to look at him.

"Mari..... What's wrong?"
