I sat on the bench outside the school waiting for my moms car to pull up. My hood covered my eyes so I didn't draw attention to myself. Well, more attention then the tube in my nose and the oxygen cart I wheel around.
"Hey, Darth Vador!" I could hear Ryan (the captain of the football team) yell towards me.
I know Darth Vador right? Classic.
Looking up I seen him standing at his convertible mustang. Did I mention his family's rich? He was sneering and laughing with his friend his girlfriend hanging on to his arm.
"Did your mom forget you? You think she would notice if you were there due to your breathing and all." His friends laughed and clapped him on the back.
"Hey Ryan?" I called back.
"What?" He seemed surprised that I called out to him.
"Don't forget to write diapers on your moms grocery list, I think you're running low."
He looked confused until I got up and started walking towards him. My oxygen tank wheeled behind me. His face fell into a confused act.
When I was directly in front of him I grabbed a shake from one of his friends and dumped it all over the front of his jeans.
"Looks like Ryan had an accident." I started walking away glad to see that my mom had just pulled into the parking lot.
"This isn't over Oxygen Boy." I heard Ryan yell before I closed the door to my moms car, my oxygen tank in my lap.
"Oh did you make friends today?" My mom beamed.
"First of all I'm not in kindergarten and second of all I did not make 'friends'."
She got the hint that I didn't want to talk. So instead we drove home in silence.
When we got home I went to my room and closed the door, wheeling my tank to the edge of my bed before I flopped down onto my black comforter.
Pulling my white iPhone out of my pocket I opened the app kik• I scrolled through my albums and picked a picture of a blonde with blue eyes before posting it on social media.
I'm actually green/blue eyes and I have jet black hair, it's difficult not being able to be proud of who I am. I used to be the star quarter back until one day I got diagnosed and they told me I could no longer breath on my own. It hurts lying to people about who I am when I'm online but I can't be rejected again.
BEEP BEEP
There was three new chats. One from Amber another from Chloe and the last from Michele.
Chloe and Michele were not just looking for chats... If you know what I mean... So I ignored them and texted back Amber.
