Chapter 3

~Alexis's POV~

I woke up I Chris's car wondering what happened. All I remember is going to the beach.
"Chris, what happened?"
"You don't remember?!" She asked as she drove.
"No, and where are we going?!"
"Home, to my house, once we get to my room I'll tell you what I remember." Chris stayed as we passed a girl I had never seen before, she had a really mysterious look in her eye and was staring at us.
"Oh, ok." I sighed.

Once we got to Chris's house we grabbed a box of cheeseits and ran up to her room. Her parents were gone.

"So tell me what happened." I said as I sat on her bed stuffing my face with cheeseits.
"Well, we were in the ocean swimming around having a good time watching the meteor shower when we were suddenly pulled into the water somehow. I woke up and put you in the car then went back to get my beach bag when this guy throws something at me. I try to block my face with my had and a wall of ice forms."
"What?!" I practically yell. "You have to be kidding!" My eyes widen.
"No, I'll show you." She says as she forms a snowball in her hand.
"Have you ever done that before?!" I ask. "No." "This is really scary, what happened last night when we were backed out?!" I ask.

As I reach for a hand full of cheeseits, they burst into flames. "Ah!" We both scream as Chris throws her snowball at the bowl putting the fire out.

"Why is this happening to us?!" "I don't know, but we can't tell anybody! They'd think we're freaks and send us to science labs or something!" I say as I drape my arm over her shoulder comforting her.

After we calm down I go to grab the remote but notice a mark on the inside of my wrist.
"What's this?" I ask as I show her. "It's on you too!" I grab her hand and turn it over. "I don't know, must have something to do with our new powers."
"I forgot to tell you something." What is it?" I ask. "When I found you unconscious in the water, you turned invisible for a second." "This is so Weird, that must be another power or something." I say as I twist my hand upward causing her to scream. "What, what is it?" I ask frantically. "I, I can't see you. Your invisible!" "Oh, I drop my had and she sighs. "Well, I figured out how to turn invisible!" I say with my arms outstretched as if I'm presenting something.
