Chapter 13

~Chris's POV~

After we finished squealing we went back down stairs to see Riker playing his guitar on the couch. He's so good! "Hey, your not playing in your room?" I ask sitting next to him while the others sit on the other couch. "Nah." He smiled.
"Hey, are you guys ready to start college next week?!" He asked looking at all of us. "Nope!" I yell, Riker laugh. I look over and smile at him. " I'm sort of ready." Cammie says. " Sam girl!" Alex adds. " Hey! you have a date tomorrow! I smirk! " Who's the lucky guy?" Riker asks, " He's name is Lacus!" "that's all I'm going to say" and she meant it because she said nothing more about it till Ally brings it back up. " So what do you think he'll do?" " Bring you flowers, chocolates, sing you a song?" Alex squealed . " Wow, you've watch way too much romantic movies Alex!" Cam yells at her while laughing. 'I just want him to be nice, I'm not a girl that likes to get pampered, I want him to be nice but not sappy, you know?" she looks at us. " Yeah!!! Same!" we both say. " I'm going to go out and get take out from that place by the dock." Alex said, " I'll come with!" shouted " Bye! they yelled and closed the door. Me and Riker were just left, it was extremely awkward. " So...." he starts, " So..." I say back and blush a little, I've never blushed in my life that much! " you're really good at playing the guitar!" I say. " oh, thanks", he pauses for a moment like he's thinking about something to. " I can teach you, it's not hard?" he asks. " Ok, I smile and sit by him. I begin to play and he shows me where to put my fingers but I couldn't figure it out so he scoots closer and wraps he arms around me. I'm now half sitting on him while he has his arms around me. He shows me how to play a song, and then when we're done he looks up at. " You're amazing..." He whispers, we look into each other's eyes when he was starting leaning in close when Cammie walks in with take out. I immediately got off and stood up. Riker clears he throat before saying, " I'll go put my guitar up." he looks down avoiding my eye contact. " What just happened?" they asked. " I don't know?", I pause than say. " I need walk!" I tell them. "Want us to come?" " no, I think I'm ok, but thanks." I tell them and walk out of the house going to the only place I feel really comfortable, the beach. I'm almost at the water when I hear someone yelling at me, I turn around and see Riker standing there at of breath. " Are you ok?! Why did you run all the way out here?" I ask him. "I needed to talk to you!" He panted. "OK well what do you want to talk to me about?" I ask him. " Chris, I've liked you for a while now, and I've never had the guts to tell you, so I'm going to now!" He continues, " I really like you, I know it's a little weird that my sister is your best friend but I don't care!" He says and I'm speechless. "I really like you too!" I say to him. He grabs my hand and say. "Chris, would you be my girlfriend?" He asks me looking at me straight in the eye. "Yes, I would love to be your girlfriend!" I look up at him. He smile so big and picks me up and spins me around, he sets me down and yells "SHE'S MY GIRLFRIEND!"  Someone looked over at us and I start to blush. "Let's start to head back, they're probably worried!" I tell him, he nods and puts his arm over my shoulder as we walk.

~Riker's POV~

I can't believe I have a girl friend and it's Chris!! As we walk into the house Alex and Cam look at us. "What are you two smiling so big about?" Cam asked as she pours chips into a bowl. I look at Chris and she nods. "We're dating!" I announce as I grab Chris's hand and hold it up in the air. "Awesome! I'm so happy for you guys!" Alex squeals as she hugs us both. "Congratulations." Cam smiles. "Can we eat now?" She asks making us all laugh.
