Shooting Stars

chapter 7

~Christina's POV~

Me and Ally look at Cammie, she just smirked at us and told us to follow her. We started to walk to the water. I finally figured out how to manipulate the water.
I look over and I see Cammie uses her mind power to move the water to make a big water fall to help and I freeze it, Ally got the message and after I froze she melted it. It's awesome to see us work as a team.

"Whoaaaa!!!!" someone yelled, we all turned around to see Alexis's brother, Riker. Great. Just. Great. I rolled my eyes as I know he is going to make a big deal, well I would to if I just realize my sister and her friends had powers. He runs up to us.
"Alexis, how'd you do that?!" he yells at her. " Riker, you can't tell anyone!" she yells back at him. " Of course I'm not going to tell anyone, if anyone found out you would be locked up for ever for sure!" he says. " Just be careful because anyone could have seen you guys, be happy that it was just me!" Ally runs out of the water and jumps on him. " Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I love you!!" she yells while she's getting him all wet. " I love you too but I didn't say I wanted to be wet!!" he laughs He pushes her off onto the sand.
He really is a nice guy......I really wished I had a siblings. I've known Alexis and Riker pretty much all my life. So I guess in a way Riker is like my brother, sadly it never will be anything else. " Hey, you know you can be our test dummy, dummy!" I smirk. " Oh, yeah?" he looks at me, then I know what's going to happen next. I start running as he's charging after me.

I can sort of out run him but in the sand it's hard, but doesn't mean I won't try. I sprint as fast as I can but it was no good cause he grabs me and throw me over he shoulder, I swear we aren't a couple he just treats me like a sister. I scream while he's running to the water. Before I know it I'm in the water, I look over and see Riker drying laughing and I use my power and shoots water at him making him fall over. I laugh as I get up and run to Ally and Cammie that are laughing to death.
I raise my hand up and direct it to the water, then once I get enough I throw it at them both but they must of read my mind because when I throw it at them Cammie uses her mind power to move it and Alex boils it in midair! Wow, I can't get away with anything now days sense they both can read mind!!! " Okay, okay truce!" I put my hands up.
We all start laughing. The sun is starting to go down and we decide to lay in a hammock, Riker already walked home.
Ally's house is also really close to the beach. I used to spend a lot of time at her house because my parents aren't really home a lot because they work all the time, and since Ally's parents go on business trips they aren't home either I would always come over. As we lay there a question dawned on me, what did the marks on our wrist really mean? I looked at them very closely and they don't look like anything I've ever seen before. Ally must of noticed me looking and she asks. " Chris, what are you looking at?" " Has it ever occurred to you that we never even looked at what the marks on our wrists mean?" I ask her, she starts to think about it when we're interrupted by Cammie saying. " What's that?" she point at into the ocean?!" I look over and see this small figure at in the sea, obviously it's really far away but enough to see. " I don't know but I don't have a good feeling, we better go!" Alex says and we quickly run home.
