Hey Guys New chapter sorry for the late upload...alot of Lets call it crap has happened and i lost the chapter.

The original chapter was different than this and when i lost it i had like 0 idea what to do, so now this chapter is going to be a filler and keep the story going before the cow patties hit the fan.

Well enough of my bantering, time for the chapter :)

{Ezra's PoV}

After she sped off from the school I hopped into my jeep and started home. Today has been interesting I thought to myself as I drove down the road.  The late summer heat was slowly dwindling and the air was starting to get a bit colder. I inhaled the scent of the trees as the thin layer of mist signaled the beginning of my house.

After putting in the code for the gate I drove across the small cobbled bridge and into the driveway of the house. As I got in the house I saw my mother in her doctor gear.

"Hey Ezra how was school?" She greeted when I was in sight.

"School was great mom, the same as always." I replied while I sat down in the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water.

She crossed over to the door to pick up her coat. I watched as she advanced to the door and called out “I’ll be back later, Love you bye." And left. The sound of the door closing rung in my ears as I stared at it silently wishing it hadn't opened.

That's how it went most days, I’d come home and she would be heading off to the hospital or some last minute errand, I was left alone in the house. I can't really blame her, she's helping people and doing something that she loves, and it just gets lonely sometimes is all.

I trudged over to the red angular couch and pulled out my cell.  After fumbling around with the contact list that never seems to want to work correctly I texted Tanner to see if he could come over

.After waiting for a few seconds for a text-back I got a reply.

I quickly opened the message. 'I’m actually on my way there now bringing the little sis." Yes, though it’s like he always knew when I needed someone. Got to love having friends.

Hoping I could get all of this done before they get here I ran upstairs to quickly shower. After getting out of the shower with my towel wrapped around me I placed an order for three large pizzas. One extra cheese, because well hello 0 topping pizza is the best... well cheese was the topping but it’s still the best one. Another extra cheese with pineapples, ham, black olives and meatballs. Tanners little sister, Keva, loves the Hawaiian style with her added twist.  And the last one was a large with black olives, green and banana peppers, onions, bacon and turkey. Way too many toppings for my taste.

Before long the security module buzzed indicating we had visitors at the gate. I ran down the spiral steps, over to it and pressed the small black button. "State your names, ages, relationship to the inhabitants and reason for the visit." I rushed out as fast as I could. Why all the information? My mother’s big on security, for what exactly I have no idea.

"Tanner and Keva Xacarias, 18 and 7, best friend of Ezra Zephyr and here to hang out." Tanner laughed out.

"Cool." I replied as I pressed the button to let them in.

Keva came in first wearing her blonde hair long with black and red streaked bangs. "What's up easy-Ez?" She said running up to hug me, her small form leaping into mine.
