Chapter 44: Help From The Colonel

Edward turned around, seeing the annoyed Hungarian.
"Seriously..It's Maria's birthday and you don't behave.." she said, pulling Edward's hair.
"Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!" he said, trying to release Elizabeta's hand. Until they heard a maniacal laugh.
"There's no mistaking it." Edward muttered.
"That's Envy's laugh!" he shouted, running towards the source. At the scene, the Danish man was panting. He was with the Norwegian, as well. Both had wounds. The source of the laugh? They found it. The person had long, black hair, similar to Maria's hair. The person had a half sleeveless shirt and was wearing shorts.
"You puny pieces of shit. Don't you realize that a immortal being is standing right before you!?" he says with a evil smile. Maria jumped right into action. She tries to slice Envy's arm off, but it was reconnected. She widens her eyes.
"N-Nani..?" she whispers to herself. Envy starts to giggle evilly.
"What's wrong, birthday girl? I thought you were the Queen Of Hearts? Why can't you defeat me?" He starts to laugh again, until Emil came from nowhere and stabs Envy from the back.
"I won't let you kill my big brother!" he shouted. Suddenly, Envy disappeared and Lukas was in front of him.
"Why did you do this, little brother..?" he asks. Emil shakes. He lets out the sword from his stomach and Lukas stood up and smiled. The smile was evil.
"You're nothing but a waste of time." This time, his voice was exactly like Envy's. Envy turned back into his original self and stabs Emil.
"Emil!!" Lukas called out to his little brother. As he was falling, Lukas caught his brother right at his arms.
"Hey. Are you ok? Answer me!!" he demanded. Emil opened his blank, purple eyes. It never showed emotion. Tears began to roll at both of their cheeks.
"B-Big...brother...." Emil said.
"Y-Yes..?" Lukas asked. His tears began to fall at his brother's cheeks.
"Please....give...me a..stone..." he says. He began to cough blood. Lukas's eyes looked at his.
"What stone?" he asks yet again.
"Maybe he's referring to Envy's philosopher's stone." Arthur guessed. Maria was scrambling her pockets and finally found something.
"Yatta! I found it!" she exclaimed.
"What did you found-" Kiku looks at what Maria's holding.
"How did you get that?" Kiku asks.
"While we're planning to stop the Allies, Arthur-kun gave me a sampaguita. When I looked at it closely, it had a philosopher's stone!" she explains happily.
"We can use this to heal Emil-san!" Lukas stood up and took it. He puts it right at his mouth and blows. The stone has been melted. He gets a bandage and puts the melted stone in front of it and wraps the bandage. Emil screamed it pain. He opens his eyes again. This time, it was not blank. It showed happiness, along with his tears.
"Thank you, big brother." A small smile crept into his mouth. Lukas smiled back and mouthed the words "You're welcome, little brother."
"What is that mark behind his left leg?" Roderich asked himself. Seconds later, he widens his eyes.
"He's a homunculus!" Roderich yelled, grabbing the other's attention and looked at Envy.
SNAP!
From nowhere, fire appeared. Envy snickered.
"You fucking colonel!!" Envy shouted. As the fire went through him, he screamed in pain.
SNAP! SNAP! SNAP! SNAP!
Fire continues to produce. As the flames stop, Envy went at his knees and disappeared like dust. A man wearing a blue uniform with some stars at his shoulders appeared.
"Could he be a police officer?" Maria, Kiku and Kuro asked themselves. The man had a stern look, almost to Ludwig's serious face. He had black hair. He bowed.
"Sorry for intruding. My name is Colonel Roy Mustang, at your service from Amestris." he said with a smile. Maria smiles back and bows as well.
"Hajimemashite. My name is Maria Clara Honda. I am the samurai of Japan, along with my brothers. Please enjoy your stay here, Roy-san." she said. The colonel smiled, and shook Maria's hand. His eyes went to Edward's.
"OI!! DON'T SHOW UP UNLESS YOU WANT TO!!" he yelled and pointed his finger at his face. Roy lets go of Maria's hand and had a annoying face drawn in it.

"Tch. You're more useless than Second Lieutenant Falman." he remarked bluntly. Maria laughed.
"Also, you two need to greet me." They turned to her with a..funny face..? Both of the two stared at her.
"Perfect boobs.."
"Sexy figure.." Both of them blushed. As they blushed, Maria's eyes turn into red. With her red eyes, she drew her katana. They both shiver. Maria's eyes return to pink and smiled.
"Come on! It's going to be cold now."
