The next day, Maria woke up so early. Ivan decided to stay at the Honda Family Residence for a while. She stood up and see Kiku and Kuro, still sleeping.(A/N: It's June 9 at Chapter 29 and 30. The date on this chapter is June 10, which is two days before their birthday.)
"Nīsan looks very kawaii while sleeping.." she thought to herself. She leans over to Kiku's face and pokes it.
"Ugh.." Kiku moaned. His right hand touches Maria's back and pushes her body close to his.
"A-Ah..Nīsan..." Maria blushed madly. Kiku opens his brown eyes and met Maria's beautiful black eyes.
"A-Ah! G-Gomenasai, imōto..." Kiku says. His face turned red and red. Maria pinches her brother's cheeks until he gets annoyed.
"Maria, stop it!"
"Sorry...it's just you're cute..." Kiku's face gets redder than a tomato.
"N-No! I-It's ok!
"We're going to meet somebody today, right?"
"H-Hai. Let's go."
While walking at Sapporo City, they saw two kids walking with each other. They heard them talk.
"Loook, Wendy! There's a Hatsune Miku store over there, desu yo!~"
"Bloody hell, Peter. You know that we're going to meet Kiku's little sister today. You're just a wanker."
"Peter-kun!" Kiku yelled. The boy's head turned into Kiku. He waved his hand.
"Kiku! It's nice to see you, desu yo!~"
Kiku approaches the two with a smile.
"Wendy-san. Peter-san. Meet Maria. She's my little sister." Kiku introduced. Maria had a satisfied smile and bowes to the two.
"Hajimemashite! My full name is Maria Clara C. Honda, but you can call me "Maria" for short!" Wendy seems very pleased to meet a polite girl.
"It's nice to meet you, Miss Maria. My name is Wendy Kirkland. I am the representation of the Principality of Wy."
"Nice to meet you, big sister Maria! My name is Peter Kirkland, desu yo!~ I will soon shall be part of United King--"
Wendy covered Peter's mouth.
"Were's Leopold-kun? I thought he would be here." Kiku asked Wendy.
"W-Well, he is being followed by the bloody Gilbert recently and he can't go if Gilbert will stop following him."
"...Oh. How about Riku-kun?"
"He came with us. He's just buying some stuff to give to Miss Maria." Until they heard a Japanese man's voice.
"Kiku-kun!"
It was Riku. He bought a dog, a flower bouquet and some manga.
"W-Why did you bring Pochi with you, Riku-kun?"
"No particular reason." he said. "Oh! Hajimemashite, Maria-san! Boku wa Riku Yoko desuka!" he said in a polite voice. He gave the manga and the flower bouquet to her.
"Arigato, Riku-san." Maria opened the paper bag and saw some Kuroko no Basuke manga!
"If you're asking if where's Valentino-san, he went on a date with Yvette-chan."
As Riku said this, Maria and Kiku blushed very hard, remembering their first mission together. Peter tilted his head in confusion.
"Why are you blushing, desu yo?"
"N-None of your business, baka." Kiku and Maria said in unison.
"I'm sorry, but is zhis zhe meeting spot?" a male voice asked them.
"L-Leopold!" Wendy stuttered.
"Hallo, fräulien. My name is Leopold Eldenstein. Vould you like me to paint thousands of cherry blossoms and you in Hatsune Miku's "Senbonzakura" outifit?" he asks.
"I would love too! But unfortunately we're busy. So, gomenasai, Leopold-san."
"It's completely fine, fräulien."
"So, we're all here, where should we go?" Erland suddenly asks from nowhere.
"Erland?! When did you arrive here, bloody git?!" Wendy yelled.(A/N: Yeah, Wy is just like England. Deal with it.)
"I was here the whole time, idiot."
"Who are you calling--"
"Yamete kudasai! We're here for meeting each other, so why are you fighting?"
"O-Oh...I'm sorry for not being proper.."
"See? You're just like that jerk Arthur!"
"He is dead, Peter-san. Why should you think that he is still alive?"
Maria sighed.
"Ok. Let's go to a shrine first."
"Zhat vould be good."
9 hours later, they arrived at the peaceful Hokkaidō Shrine in Marumaya Park in Sapporo.
"The Hokkaidō Shrine is a Shinto shrine here in Japan." Maria explained to the guests.
"The shrine enshrines the four kami including the soul of Emperor Meiji." Kiku continued.
"In 1869, by an order of the Emperor Meiji, to enshrine the three kami; Ōkunitama, Ōkuninushi, and Sukunahikona, was held in Tokyo." Maria continued.
"They were enshrined as the three deities of the Hokkaido reclamation, and they were later moved here in Sapporo by officers in the Kaitakushi, the previous government of Hokkaidō prefecture."
"An interim building of the shrine for the three kami was constructed in 1870 here in Sapporo, although its location was different from the current point where the Hokkaidō Shrine stands. In 1871, the shrine was erected to the current place and named as the "Sapporo Shrine", and on September 14 an inaugural ceremony was held."
"From 1889 through 1946, Sapporo-jinja was officially designated one of the Kanpei-taisha, meaning that it stood in the first rank of government supported shrines."
"The soul of the Emperor Meiji was newly enshrined in 1964, and the building was officially renamed into the current "Hokkadō Shrine". The building was destroyed by the fire in 1974, and later restored in 1978." Maria concluded. Wendy smiled.
"Even this shrine is very old, its very beautiful."
"I agree, Wendy-chan." Riku agreed. Kiku's phone rang.
"Moshi moshi?"
"It's me, Kuro. You need to bring the others with you."
"But how about imōto?" Kiku asked.
"You need to take her back at the kingdom. We need you guys here."
"Ok. See you later."
"Who was that, nīsan?"
"I'll tell you when we come back at Azuchi Kingdom."
"Wait, "kingdom"?! Are you bloody serious, Kiku!?" Wendy complained.
"Don't worry. That's where we live. The king and queen are nice, even the samurais there."
As they reach the gate of the kingdom, they met a man with long, light purple hair tied up into a ponytail.
"Excuse me, but who are you?" the man asked. Kiku sighed.
"Gakupo-san, it's me, Kiku."
"Oh, sorry, Kiku. Come in!"
They went inside the kingdom, and it was beautiful. The houses are wooden. And there's one house that has the kanji of "Honda" written on the right side of the door.
It was the Honda Family Residence.
"Would you like some tea?" a man asked in a Russian accent.
"Ivan-san. Can you bring imōto to her room?" Kiku asked Ivan.
"Where are you going, Kiku?"
"I'm going to a festival, Ivan. Can you take care of her?"
"Da!~"
After they left, Cheng called Kiku.
"Hai, Cheng-san. We're almost there."
"Make sure that they must be with you, brother. Alfred will get angry at you."
"Don't worry. I brought them with me."
"Great. I'll hang up now."
Kiku hangs up his cellphone, and sighed.
"Nīsan, are you really that insane when you "killed" her? I hope you got the plan set."
