About three days later, the matsuri has started. The Honda siblings dressed up in their kimonos. Maria, this time, didn't had her hair tied to a bun.
"Why didn't tie your hair into a bun, imōto?" Kuro asked his imōto. Maria simply smiled.
"I am just used to having my hair down for 18 years." Maria answers. Her origami flower had bits of pink on it, much to Kiku and Kuro's surprise.
They walked at the road. The kingdom was filled with lanterns and small stores. The Honda siblings saw Mamoru's store, which sells decorations.
"Mamoru-kun. Can we buy one of these?" Kiku asked the black haired boy. Mamoru nodded.
"Yes! The small decorations costs ¥20! The big ones costs ¥40!" Mamoru explained. Maria smiled warmly and finds a picture frame.
"May I buy this?" Maria asked politely, pointing at the picture frame. Mamoru smiled.
"Hai!~" He replied. Maria gave Mamoru ¥40.
"Thank you, Mamoru-kun!" Kiku said, waving. Mamoru waved back.
"Your welcome, Kiku-kun!" Mamoru replies and smiles. Maria looks at the sky, which was decorated with billions of stars.
"Nīsan! Look!" Maria called to her two brothers, pointing at the sky.
"It's very pretty." Kuro remarked, smiling. Maria nodded in agreement.
"Yes! It is!" Maria said. She approached the two and smiled.
"Also..." Kuro started.
"What is it?" Maria asked her brother.
"Your flower. It has pink bits." Kiku continued for Kuro. Maria smiled and takes her flower off.
"Senbonzakura, yori ni magire, kimi no koe mo, todoku naiyo.." Maria sang, reminding her brothers of something. Kiku held both of his sibling's hands and went back to the house and sat down.
"Ēto..nīsan.." Maria started. Kiku sighed.
"It's ok." Kiku said, soothingly. Maria just smiled.
"I'm just excited for the fireworks."
