We're stuck. In traffic. This is why I hate highways sometimes, too many people use it.

"Hey," Ayaan says, taking me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah?"

"I'm planning something," he starts.

I look up at him the last time he planned something was our honeymoon. Which turned out pretty amazing.

"What is it?"

"Next month," he says slowly. "How about we go to Greece?" he says. It's more of a statement then a question. I'm surprised, I've always wanted to visit Greece.

"Oh god Ayaan yess. Of course," I'm literally so happy right now.

"But we have to book the tic..," I start. But am interrupted.

"They're already booked," he says, yet again I'm surprised.

"For what date?" I ask.

"The first,"

That's literally two weeks away. TWO. This should be fun. The traffic clears up and in no time were driving towards my moms. Ayaan parks the car in the driveway and we both walk in, while he takes of his shoes I ring the doorbell.

"Aliyah," my aunt opens the door and greets me.

"Hello you look young and beautiful," I tell her. She just smiles at me and shakes her head.

"How are you Ayaan?" She asks him.

"I'm fine, thank you. How are you? You look amazing," he says. My aunt fake gasps.

"Are you flirting with me?" She asks. We all laugh. We walk inside to see my sister with the ugliest face on her. This women is scared.

"What's wrong with you?" I ask her.

"What if they say get married next month? Which is in two weeks," she says.

Oh hell no, that can't happen.

"That can't happen chill. If they try saying that I got you," I tell her.

"Mama is the guy good?" I ask my mom as I take her into a separate room.

"Yes Aliyah. He's a very nice boy and the only child of his mother," she tells me. I nod.

"That's good," I say.

"You'll like him," she then pats my head and returns to the kitchen. She already has two of my aunts helping her and my sister so I just walk in to the living where Ayaan and my oldest aunt is.

"Yes it's going very good," Ayaan says to my aunt as I walk in.

"Aliyah my little Doctor how's your patients? Did anyone sue you yet?" She asks.

I laugh.

"No, I'm a good doctor," I tell her.

We just sit there talking until Ayaan's phone rings, but he's in the washroom. So I pick up.

"Hello?"

"Hi ma'am, I'm calling from the travel agency. I was just calling to confirm your tickets to London on April first," she says. I thought it was Greece?

"I think you've gotten the wrong place my husband actually confirmed it for Greece," I tell her.

"Let me recheck,"

I wait for her to come back and in the meantime Ayaan comes back.

"Ayaan they're saying tickets for London. Didn't you book them for Greece?" I ask him.

"No no say yes to them. We're stopping at London first," he says.

"Ayaan why two places?" I ask him.

He just winks at me and takes the phone.

"Going on another honeymoon?" My youngest aunt says walking in joined by my mom and other aunt.

"No," I say laughing. They all look at me with knowing looks. Ayaan gets of the phone and now we're all just waiting for the groom and his family to come.

"Ayaan I want you to be a very strict man with him," my mom tells him.

"Mama, why Ayaan? I'll be strict with him. If he tries anything I'll screw him up," I tell her. She just rolls her eyes at me and gives Ayaan a signal. Are they telepathically talking to each other?

After about 10 minutes the bell rings and I get the door.

"Hi aunty come on in," I say.

Shortly after they come in and we all start talking.

Talks about married life and how fun and annoying our life could be. Then the roasting starts.

"So how about exactly 7 months from now?" the father says.

"That sounds good," my mom says.

"Right?" I ask my sister.

"It's good," she replies.

I get up to go in the kitchen to make tea. While I'm washing the cups, someone slides their arms around my waist. Ayaan.

"Babe," he says.

"Mhhm?" I ask.

"You know what this reminds me of?" he says.

"What,"

"Our date fix day," he says. And I laugh.

"Oh god we tried every trick to sneak out for the night," I say.

"Man those were the days," he says as if it was years ago.

"Ayaan that was 8 months ago," he looks at me with a pointed look.

We finish making tea and he helps me take it outside for everyone. And then they all start talking about how we're such a nice couple.
