~Sam's POV~
I push him off me and stick my tongue out.
"I'm starving so hurry your ass up," I tell him.
He just winks at me and after about 30 minutes we are out looking for a restaurant. We finally arrive upon a very horror movie looking like restaurant. Luckily it's brown food.
After we climb up 100 steps of stairs we finally arrive at where we would be eating. Holy shit it's literally like a castle up here, it's so beautiful. There's no one here except me and Ahmad.
"What would you like to order my dear future wife?"
"Mhmm,"
"Shall I proceed with ordering and surprise you?"
"Ahmad" I say laughing.
"I don't mess with food. You order for yourself I'll take care of me," I tell him.
The waiter comes and we each place our order. Now we're impatiently waiting for our food.
"Sam?"
"Yeah?"
"Where would you like to go for our honeymoon?" he asks.
"Where? You mean what places! I've a list actually," I tell him.
"Easy there, Sam. This is turning more into a 'explore the world' then honeymoon,"
I laugh.
"Fine. But at least two places," I tell him with a don't argue with me voice.
"We need to plan our wedding,"
"Don't worry Aliyah will do that," I tell him smiling at all her plans ever since high school.
"Aliyah? Okay then I'm tension free she's an amazing at decor," he says.
"That's my bitch,"
Soon our food arrives and we scarf it down like hungry lions. After that Ahmad takes me to a forest.
"What is this bullshit Ahmad? You planning on murdering me?"
He pulls me closer by placing his hand on my waist and mumbles something. After getting scratched by a million bushes and trees we finally arrive where ever the hell he wanted us to be.
"WHAT TH-"
"Shh"
He turns me around and my breath is caught in between my throat. Oh god, this is amazing. The whole New York City is seen through this amazing small cliff.
"How do you about this place?" I ask him.
"Been here a couple times," he says.
His voice hold something in it. Coldness? Or sadness.
I'm not the one to push someone so I just stay quiet. After a couple of minutes of silence Ahmad breaks it.
"I want to tell you something," he says. Without looking at me.
"Go ahead,"
"Samaira, everyone has a past. I have one too. I want to start our relationship as clear as water. I don't want you finding this out later as the years go by," he says this time looking me straight in the eye.
I look away from him. And nod at him to continue.
"My university years were the best of my life. I had everything I could ask for. Along with the perfect girl. Her name was Zara. We were deeply in love, it's safe to say both of us were. I was engaged to her and our families knew each other very well too. The plan was to go ahead and get married after university.
