As the days passed, Kelsey was becoming more and more comfortable with the group. Even Jane started to participate with them.

One day, Kelsey brought in a pen that she normally never was seen with. It was a pink frilly pen with a little fuzzball on top and she seemed to be holding onto it as if it was her lifeline. She walked into class that day and saw an empty seat next to Rin. Taking the opportunity, she walked up to him, the nerves coming back to her as she pushed up her glasses again "mind if i sit next to you?" She asks him quietly, her voice much more confident that it had been days before was surprisingly beautiful and soft. Gentle even as if her voice was caressing something very fragile.

"I don't mind." Rin even scooted over so she could sit. Kelsey smiles as she sits next to Rin, setting her pen down in front of her, never taking her eyes off of it as if she was afraid it would run away.

"Alright class, sorry but Mr. Okumura got called out so we will go straight to the gym to wrangle with some demons." The teacher said earning a few laughs and smiles. One by one everyone changed out into their gym clothing and got lined up in the middle of the court. "Today you Esquires will be capturing fuzzies. They are bunny like demons that are very fast. For this you all will need to think and act in order to capture them." The teacher explained releasing one for each person there.

"You may begin... Now!" The Esquires scattered around to try and catch the fuzzies. Bon fell a few times as his kept taking sharp turns. Rin kept getting angrier and angrier as the demon didn't want to talk to him. Jane's just jumped into her out stretched arms and Kelsey succeeded surprisingly, and easily as well. Her fuzzy ran straight to her and jumped into her arms as if it belonged there. It looked up at Kelsey lovingly. "Did i do something wrong?" She asks curiously as everyone stared at her in disbelief.

"Nope. Your fuzzy just took a liking to you." Jane said getting her own. Her head snapped right towards the larger cages as the sound of metal breaking. Kelsey looked in the same direction, pen in hand as she prepared for the worst.

Another bang and a large demon burst out of its cage. The Esquires scattered getting away from the demon. Kelsey notices the demon and looks around at everyone as she slowly takes her glasses off "guys..." she mutters softly as the demon looked at her, its eyes boring into hers as she walks over to the demon with fake nervousness. The demon started to back off as she approached. Jane watched with a smirk as Kelsey guided the demon into another cage before shutting it. Kelsey then put her glasses back on and started petting both demons sweetly as if nothing had happened.

"I knew it..." Jane said as she pulled out her phone and disappeared into a corridor to call Oracle again. Kelsey looked at all of the other students as they all stared at her and the demon she was petting that was in the cage, happily letting her pet it as she held onto her fuzzy. Her glasses making her eyes a little harder to see than normal.

Rin broke the silence "How did you do that?" Kelsey looks up at him and blushes "I don't think I can really tell you the answer to that question...." She told him softly as she hid behind her fuzzy.

"No need to." Jane said snapping her phone shut. Kelsey looked at Jane in fear. Jane just smiled at her and winked.

"Alright, dismissed so we can figure out what happened." The teacher called ushering the kids out of the gym.

As everyone left Jane pulled Kelsey off to the side. "You know if you don't want people to know about you being a half demon, you might not want to show that kind of stuff." Jane commented. Kelsey walked away from the group, heading towards her dorm, watching the ground the entire time.

Jane shook her head and smiled as she walked outside just in time to see a portal open in the distance.
