Inner Demons

Chapter 6

It was hard walking around the nest as it turned into a maze of flesh looking walls. Rin though for sure they were lost, that is until the walls became higher and more solid looking. Looking confused, he watched Raptor at the next intersection. She looked at the four pathways then sniffed the air before walking down the tunnel furthest to the right. Amazed by this Rin looked to Shiro before asking, "How does she know which way to go? Is she like psychic or something?"
Kelsey looked over at Rin, "Specific demons have different scents. If a demon trains their nose to tell the difference between those scents, then they can do stuff like she did... I read it in a book once..." Shiro chuckled at Kelsey earning an annoyed look. "See now that would be true if Raptor was a demon girl. Sadly she's something else entirely and is more dangerous because of it." He smirked waiting for Kelsey's reply. Thankfully he didn't have to wait long. "Then if she isn't a Demon, what is she?" Kelsey asks him curiously, her eyes bright with the hope of new knowledge.
"She's what you would call a Bioweapon. Scientist made her. She can shift into Dinosaurs and has most of the traits of them. Hence the strong sense of smell; though it has its downside in the form of the dino instincts can become stronger than her human ones." Shiro looked towards Raptor with a saddened expression as he finished.
Kelsey looks over at Raptor with wide eyes, her face a mixture of awe, and sorrow. "But she is so nice... I would have never guessed something so horrible would have happened to her." Kelsey told him softly.
"Yeah you wouldn't but don't let it foul you. She is actually crazy like... crap who does she compare herself to?" Shiro looked to Ichigo who shrugged.
"I said I'm almost like Harley Quinn. I can kill without a second thought and I have voices in my head. Though I'm not in an abusive relationship." Raptor chipped in with a small smile.
Kelsey giggled at Raptor, "Sounds like fun." Both broke into laughing fits. Raptor flicked a tear that had escaped from her eye. The laughter dead out when a loud screech echoed down the hallway causing them to cover their ears. As soon as the screeching stopped, smaller voices followed as well as the echoes of scraping claws and talons.
"Guess our host has finally decided to show herself." Raptor smiled wildly pulling her claws back out. The group followed her example by either drawing their own sword or shifting into a battle stance. Nodding at the group Raptor took off running down the twists and turns with the group following close behind. After entering a giant archway, a large room greeted them that had a dome like structure to it with a throne of bones at the other end. In said throne was a woman. She had long, beautiful black hair that fell down her back and shoulders all the way into her lap. She sat in the chair cross legged as she watched the group with sunglasses covering her eyes in the dimly lit room. As Kelsey looked at the demon she finally let her eyes leave the demon's face and Kelsey instantly looks away as she notices that the demon is 100% unclothed. The boys looked away with a blushing expression.
"Oh? I have guests today? Do we have an appointment? I don't remember requesting a group of half-breeds and a bioweapon." The succubus' voice coming out with a soft velvety melody as she then gets up from her throne of bones, looking very seductive with her big breasts bouncing everywhere. "Awh, i love it when sweet, innocent boys blush at my beauty!"she exclaims happily as she walks over to Rin "oooooohhhhhhh....your blood smells delicious...."she murmurs softly as she cups his cheek in her hand, not making him look up as she uses her other hand to go to the hand he is holding his sword in and she rests her hand on his wrist. "Now now, you wouldn't want to hurt me, would you?" She asks him softly as she smirks at the other boys who are still looking away in embarrassment.
Kelsey looks up at the succubus' face and pulls out a jar with blue goo and throws it at the succubus, making the succubus stagger backwards, the jar having hit her in the side of her face, the side of her face now skeleton like and steaming as the sunglasses are burned off of her eye, showing her blood red eyes as the succubus then glares angrily at Kelsey.
Taking the distraction, Raptor moved to strike her back only managing one before the succubus jumped back and stared at the group. "You know the one thing I hate about demons like you is? You think you're untouchable. Well we're here to shatter that illusion." Raptor smirked raising her claws to show the demon wards on them as well as the succubus' blood dripping down them onto Raptor's arm. Kelsey facepalms "Great, now she knows you wanna kill her, now we are REALLY screwed..." she mutters under her breath as she watches Raptor who just shrugged and charged again.
Shiro and Ichigo leapt into the air shouting, "Getsuga Tensho!" causing two half moon looking attacks to fly at the succubus.
The succubus laughs at them and dodges their attack, "You think you can defeat ME?!" She screeched. The succubus throws her head back in laughter not noticing that Ichigo had stepped behind her. At the same time, Shiro released another Getsuga Tensho in front while Ichigo released one behind her. Raptor saw a change and motioned Kelsey and Rin to ready their weapons to attack. She flipped the two her claws then pointed it towards the battle  between Ichigo, Shiro, and the ancient succubus.
Kelsey looked at Raptor and then at Rin, "We need her to be very weak for this to work..." She pulled out another jar of gross, disgusting looking goo that doesn't glow like the others that she had and she keeps her pen next to the jar.
"OK but how, she's dodging those two like its nothing!" Rin gestured to the battle as Shiro got launched into a wall.
Kelsey goes up to Rin and grabs his wrist where he is holding his sword and grips it tightly, making him look her in the eyes. "Be confident in yourself Rin, if we all work together, we CAN defeat her." She tells him, her eyes bright as fire as she looks into his eyes with her intense gaze. Raptor stopped trying to help Shiro from the wall and stared at Kelsey as she finished what she was saying. With a look of disbelief she stared at Kelsey.
"You did NOT just try to say that the magic teamwork and friendship will win this did you?" Raptor asked earning a laugh from Shiro who she kick swiftly and caused him to fall out of the wall.
Kelsey nods, "I did. It's the only way we can get close enough to making her weak enough to kill her for good and complete the mission. Plus, it's in the book i read on her." Kelsey smiles a little, "Don't make me yell "friendship" as I charge her since you don't believe friendship can work..." This caused Raptor to laugh hard before looking at her dead in the eye. "You do that and you're fighting the stripper on your own." She joked.
Kelsey looks at Raptor "Friendship, and teamwork always wins..." she told Raptor defiantly. The succubus watched the scene and grew tired of watching the team quarrel. She walked over and slapped Kelsey hard in the face, the succubus' claws digging into Kelsey's cheek causing Kelsey's cheek to be ripped open and she fell to the ground from the impact. "I grow tired of watching you puny halfbreeds quarrel. How about all of you bow down to me and I might take you as pets instead of killing you in brutal manners and feeding you to the filth of hell?" The succubus told them sweetly as she extends and retracts her disgusting, disease filled nails. Rin looked at her with a disgusted look then looked away quickly as her hair moved showing a bit more then he would like.
"How about we not do that and send you on a one way trip into oblivion you Million year old cunt?!" Raptor shouted rushing forward with Shiro to Ichigo's aid. Rin followed igniting his flames trying to land a hit on the succubus.
While the others attacked, Kelsey goes to her backpack and pulls out her pink goo again and applied it to her cheek to try and heal the wound, the goo having the exact opposite feeling on her, than it did on Ichigo, making her grit her teeth in pain as it makes her cheek feel like it's on fire from the goo having to kill the poison from the Succubus' claws. "Don't let her claws touch you, they are extremely poisonous." she told the rest of the group with grit teeth as she puts the jar back into her backpack and her cheek starts slowly healing.
The succubus started to worry; these half-breeds kept her on her toes and when she tried to attack one, another would get a shot in on her. It was starting to piss her off. "You little shits! How? I'm the strongest of my kind any yet you have driven me to this!" she shouted letting her energy envelope her. Slowly she shifted out of the beauty and into her true form. The human flesh ripped away as she grew from human size to the size of a 3 story building. Her body taking the shape of a chunky, serpent with long, bony arms sticking out beside where her chest lyes. Her skin became a sickish green hue with scales covering her important areas. Her face stretch out into a long, narrow, pointed chin. "Now you will suffer horrific deaths tenfold for forcing me into this form!" She screeched shooting stretches of fluid at them that when the fluid hit their clothing, it started eating away at them.
Rin cursed as he pulled off his jacket while Kelsey ripped her pant leg and threw it back at the succubus earning another screech as the fluid started to burn the succubus' flesh.
Kelsey looks at everyone then takes her jar out another jar and opened it. She dipped her flaming dagger into it, causing the dagger's flames glowing brighter. Once she deemed the dagger ready, Kelsey started to shout orders at the group. "Ichigo! Hichigo! Raptor! Hold her down! Rin, I need your flames!" Everyone nodded and began to take their places. Kelsey went up to Rin and grabbed his hand, "We both need to plunge our weapons into her heart at the same time. It needs poisoned fire," she gestures to her dagger, "And the normal fire of demons." She points towards Rin's sword. Nodding, Rin raised his sword and let his flames ingulf it.
Ichigo, Shiro, and Raptor had a hard time pinning the succubus. Every time one of them got her pinned to the ground and the others rushed in, the succubus shot the fluid at them and bucked who ever was pinning her off. "Well this is NOT working..." Raptor grumbled pulling herself from the ground again. Looking over at at Shiro and Ichigo as they dodged the fluids again. Raptor looked over at the two then got an idea. "GUYS! Remember the Canada mission?!" Raptor shouted putting her claws away and pulled out a weird looking gun that gave off a green glow. Shiro looked confused before realizing what she meant. "On three?" he asked raising his inverted Zangetsu one last time. Raptor nodded as Ichigo moved back and raised his own Zangetsu. "This is going to be quick so I hope you two are ready!" Raptor shouted towards Rin and Kelsey before shouting, "THREE!" She pointed her gun at the succubus that let loose a glob that when it hit the succubus, she became ensnared allowing Shiro and Ichigo to stab her arms pinning her to the stone floor. Raptor rushed forward while switching her goo gun for a net one. With the net gun she shot the succubus' legs pinning them.
Seeing the opening, Kelsey and Rin jumped and landed on the creature's chest before driving their flaming weapons into her chest. The succubus let out a piercing scream as her eyes turned to red fire, Kelsey shoves her dagger even further into the screaming demon's chest, she closed her eyes and concentrated on the fire she was sending into the monster, letting it flow like water and burn the succubus from the inside before the succubus exploded into ashes,  launching everyone into the air.
