'Time' Chapter2

How....

Did I really run that far..

I pick my head up to a reality I didn't ask nor want.

At least its a fresh new start...I hope.

Monday

The air was crisp inside my room, nothing but the birds singing echoed throughout the room. The door opens and a lady that looks like she's in her thirties says, "Loui. come down to the eating room for breakfast...maybe even make some friends here you know." I nod, as soon as she leaves my stomach turns. "Kids," I breathe "maybe you can make some friends she says, umm no thank you."

I trudge down the stairs to an unfamiliar smell, it was very alluring.

A young boy looks up from his plate of unfamiliar foods to me. "Wow... are you Loui." He smiles.

"Yes I am, who are you." I try my best to sound nice as I take my seat to a gravel looking table. The only thing I could recognize on the plate was eggs that had leaves in it, a bowl of what looked like red things with yellow seeds on it, and a pretty fish decorated with more leaves and a side of mashed potatoes with gravy. "Are you goin' to eat?" He inquired

"What's your name?" I ask starting on my eggs.

"Edwin" He says, his eyes never leaving mine.

The windows are nice and clean with bright colors swaying from left to right with the wind.

He looks at me still waiting for something to happen "Arent you goin to answer my question? But I guess I shouldn't pry I mean you've already started so-" He breaks off looking at giant clock in the corner in fear.

" It's almost time!" he yells.

A girl comes out the door in a hurry. She wears a navy blue dress that is up to her knees and black dress shoes, Her hair looks very silky and curly and long and pretty plus she smells nice, and her skin is brown like a mixture with highlights in her skin. Her face is heavenly and makes me melt inside, like chocolates in the sun. She looks at me and my face starts to get hot, suddenly she starts to act franticly and rush towards the door, which leaves me to scan the rest of her. I can feel my heart in my hands when I look at her, I felt my breathe return to myself once she left the room. "Who was that" I force out.

"That's Trinity!" He exclaims "She was one of the newest ones before you came. Come on, we have to go to school."

Now, I have been going to school for all of my life, just not Friday.

The old lady introduced herself as Edith, she has a temper like her husband Jarrett. I also got to meet some of the kids like Joon, a young little boy who was very sweet and another by the name of Zaid.

By the time I entered the school I was surprised by how clean it was here and how nice it smelled, I suddenly become uneasy walking towards the front desk.

I knew after I was done here at the office I would be alone...again.

The lady at the desk looked boring as ever especially when she's talking to me.
She told me to go to Miss Awe 147. I sighed while messing with the hem of my white shirt. "Oh and give this to your guardian it's to purchase your uniform." I nod and hurry down the hall navigating myself towards this mystery woman.
My eyes glue to floor as I knocked on the hard wood.

A boy hesitantly opens the door. "Come in don't be shy." She waves me over and has this pleasant surprise face on.

Is this my life now?
