One week later

Life seemed a bit peaceful.

I have acquaintances.

Some I don't want.

Some I do.

That girl will not leave me alone, she continues to call me her best friend and always calls me out. But the worst part is, when the class recognizes us a couple, I shudder every time. I think her name is Xiao, yes Xiao, the blonde, green eyed girl.

As I sit on the porch, the nice breeze blows over me, as I take in the air, the sight of the blonde brat stepping out of the house in front of me, sent me flying off the chair. I trip over the leg of the chair, and to my surprise, she's standing over me giggling. Her eyes light up with joy as I stand up, dusting myself off.
"What do you want." I sigh, crossing my arms. "Loui I have something to ask you..." Her face was going pink, and she couldn't look me in the eyes. "But first, come on." She grabs my arm and forces me over to a field.

There's a single flower with yellow petals in between us. She looks to the sky and sighs, I pout. "Loui, I know I'm annoying...and that you must hate me." I really do. "But please give me a chance, and you wont regret it! Please please please, pretty please!" She sits on her knees in the grass, looking in my eyes. "Would you calm down, Xiao..." Her expression looks hopeful, she holds out her pinky. "Loui I promise I won't annoy you..."I lace my pinky with hers and roll my eyes, hold old are you? "Xiao! Ok!" She pulls me down to her and hugs me. "Thank you, best friend!" I shake my head.

She lets me go and looks away, covering her face. "Loui..."

"What." I lean on my elbows for support.

"Do you...have a girlfriend." Awkwardness fills the air for about three seconds.

"Why do you ask." I say, trying to look at her face.

"I just...wanted to...can you answer the question!" She blurts out.

"I'm not sure anymore, I..." Memories flood my vision with Trinity, remembering the last time I saw her. My heart starts to skip beats and breathing get quickened. Xiao looks at me with her reflective eyes, her face pink. "It's because I-" She closes her mouth and looks at me again.

"Trinity was my one love..." I look off into the distance, the wind blowing Xiao's golden hair in her face. She looks down playing with her hands in her lap.

"Loui, when I first saw you last week, I felt something I hadn't felt in...well ever, it was love at first sight." She scoffs. "Xiao, don't. You are making a mistake to like me, I'm serious." She comes close to my face, and I see myself in her eyes.

I see her standing on a rock looking down. "Loui, why do you love me." I hug her as tight as I could, never wanting to leave her. "I love you because you remind me of...my mother." She is silent and closes her eyes. "I need you." I trace my fingertips on her jaw, but feel nothing. Why do I feel so nervous all the sudden, and the urge to kiss her was unbearable. I needed to feel her again, placing my index finger on her lips I come closer, there was nothing there. No taste. No feeling.

I pull away looking at someone else, turning around to see Trinity staring at us, emotionless she backs away into someone elses arms. I try calling out her name, but the girl turns my head towards her. "Just forget about her, your with me babe." Her words angered me to a level of evil like none I've been through before. Looking into her eyes, I stop instantly when seeing green orbs dilate at mine. As much as I wanted to kill her, I couldn't. Not that I didn't want to I just couldn't. She kisses me, I just stand there blank, while she squeezes me into her embrace. "I need you." She sighs.

"Loui!" Xiao yells waving her hand in my face. Snapping back to reality, I push her off me. "Ow! Loui! You were gone in some daydream!" She stares at me with wide eyes and an expecting expression. "Ok..." She sighed.

Why did she look like...but...where...dreams.
My thoughts were all over the place, searching for an answer.

"I still love Trinity, I will always love her." I look at her, shaking her head. "You probably will never see her again, you can't keep holding on to things you know won't last forever."

"Who said we were going to last forever, huh! No, you're so insufferable! Words can't describe how angry you make me feel! Do me a favor and stay away from me, o.k.!" I give her my best death glare. Standing up, she pounces on me, bringing me back to the ground. "LOUI NO!" She starts covering me in kisses. "NEVER. WILL. I. EVER. LEAVE. YOU.ALONE." She says in between pecks.

"HELP ME! HELP!" I start screaming, and some kids start to watch and record us, laughing.

"Is that Xiao!" Said one girl.

"Are they a thing!? Said another.

The chattering becomes louder as it comes closer to us. Xiao stops her actions and looks around to the kids with phones targeted on us, my face is emotionless while I stand up. Grabbing her wrist, I lead out of the crowd and into my house.

"Oooh! Look!" They start pointing and taking pictures. I see a couple of girls glaring at Xiao.
"What the hell." I let go of her and walk to my room. "Why did you bring me here!?" Her voice was high and excited. Why did I bring her here? "Then get out." I yell, Xiao comes over to my room and smiles. "You like me! That's why you didn't leave me!" She starts bouncing and claps her hands like she won something. "No." I roll my eyes into darkness for a second.
"Yes!"
"No."
"Yes!"
"You can and will leave."
She stares at me with a huge smile, tilting her head. "Will you sit at lunch with me!"
"What the-can you get out!" I say with my fist clenched, debating whether or not I should backhand her. "Ok! See you there bestie!" She skips out the house to the kids standing outside like news reporters.

"Ugh, I should kill you!" I lay on my back in bed and think about Trinity. "I'll be back..."

"Loui! Who was that." Dori semi yells half awake. "Some annoying girl!" I yell back, with attitude. She runs in, smiling ear to ear, making a heart with her hands. "So clearly some incest is about to be forced upon me." I look at my mirror in the corner and smile to myself. She frowns, but quickly changes her frown upside down. "It's ok Loui, I see you." She starts wagging her finger at me, and winks. I give my best poker face and look for my phone.

Looking at my contacts I scroll to Trinity's number, all the calls she missed, and I'm still waiting for her response to my text.
